People change when they feel heard, understood and cared about! Therapy is about creating a safe, reflective space for clients to gain insight and increase their reflective capacity.

Therapy is about creating a safe, reflective space for clients to gain insight and increase their capacity to reflect on themselves, their experiences, and their relationships. My job as a therapist is to partner with you to help you work toward your goals and reach your highest potential. My specialty is infant mental health, which focuses on kids’ healthy development in the context of safe, secure caregiving relationships. I use attachment-based strategies to help parents process their early childhood experiences and relationships and explore how those impact their current reality and parenting style. Babies have a unique way of reminding us of our hopes and dreams, but also of our painful experiences. It’s important that parents get the support they need to process their own histories and manage stress so that they are better able to understand their children. Children grow best when they feel loved, safe, and understood…and the same goes for parents! We are all in need of some support! If you are looking for a safe ear to listen, a fresh perspective, some new skills, or simply someone to hold space for all the feelings you are having- please, give me a call. “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” –Brene Brown
