Abbi Hirschfeld LICSW
Hi, I’m Abbi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, chronic illness, and chronic pain. Living with these experiences can feel overwhelming and isolating, and you don’t have to face them alone. I also support parents and caregivers who may be feeling burned out, stretched thin, or unsure of their next steps. Whether you’re looking for guidance, coping tools, or simply a space to feel heard and understood, I’m here to help.
I help by creating a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can safely explore your experiences and begin to feel less alone in what you’re carrying. Together, we’ll work on developing healthy coping skills, strengthening positive self-talk, reframing unhelpful thinking patterns, and helping you recognize your own strengths I’ll also gently reflect back what I’m hearing and help you notice and challenge any negative self-talk that may be getting in your way.
In our first session, I’ll explain what to expect in therapy, including confidentiality and your rights as a client. You’ll have space to ask questions, share what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, with the goal of building trust and creating a collaborative partnership.
I understand how exhausting it can be to appear “together” on the outside, while struggling on the inside. You don’t have to face this alone — Please reach out to schedule a free 15 minute call to ensure this is a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you!
