Quite simply, psychotherapy is about conversations. The conversations we have with ourselves and with others. We often try so many different tactics to live happier more fulfilling lives, and we come to realize that it isn't always enough. A therapeutic conversation is based on an open and genuine collaboration between client and therapist; a relationship built on trust, honesty, and understanding. As the foundation for good therapeutic work, it's essential to feel comfortable and cared for. I hope to provide this conversation.

Usually, I try to meet with you 2-3 times during which we discuss what's going on. This will help us get to know each other and understand the basis for our work moving forward. We can talk about fees, goals, frequency, and other questions/concerns you may have.

With significant experience with the military subculture, I have a unique perspective and insight into transitions and their inherent conflicts. Life is full of them: moving, changing jobs, beginning/ending relationships, school. It is sometimes hard to keep oneself together during transitions, and hopefully our conversation can help ease life.
