Hello! My name Dr. Bryce Kamron Davis, Ph.D., I am a postdoctoral resident in Psychology. I’m deeply passionate about helping people navigate their mental health journey and move in a direction that supports their goals! When working with me you can expect someone who is laid back, engaged, and authentic. During our sessions we will explore connections, patterns, and experiences that have guided you to therapy, while also gaining skills, a deeper connection to self, and healing. I have the most experience with treating depression, anxiety, daily stress, academic stress, burnout, relational difficulties (friends, families, partners), social isolation, ADHD, identity exploration, and identify based stress and trauma (e.g. racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.). I have the most experience working with individuals who are LGBTQ+, People of Color, and/or neurodivergent. I also provide psychological evaluations for learning disorders, ADHD, and readiness for gender affirming medical interventions.
If you’re curious about what therapeutic modalities inform our work together, I integrate theory and practice primarily from Person-Center Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, while also pulling in tools and resources from Emotion Focused Therapy, Interpersonal/Relational Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Coherence Therapy.
A little bit about myself outside of the therapy office, I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I have lived in Houston, Texas since August 2025, following the completion of my doctoral internship in Reno, Nevada. In my free time I enjoy traveling, museums, comedy shows, Pokemon, anime, movies, art exhibits, and rest/relaxation. When I’m not doing any of those things, you will likely find me doing community service with my fraternity around Houston!
I earned by Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. During my doctoral internship at the University of Nevada – Reno I completed emphases in multicultural counseling and community engagement, and theoretical applications of DBT to general mental health populations.
