Eliana Freeman, LICSW
Sometimes we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious. We might notice patterns and struggle to understand them. Together, we will work collaboratively to build skills to best meet your needs, hopes, and goals while exploring and building insight to better understand yourself. Our work will support you as you navigate different life phases, relationships, and environments. I specialize in working with individuals traversing life transitions (school, work, moving, navigating change, stress), anxiety, grief and loss, familial or relationship dynamics, and identity exploration. I have extensive training and experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
My approach to psychotherapy is relational and psychodynamic, while utilizing other modalities such as CBT, Mindfulness techniques, techniques of Grief Therapy, and Expressive Therapies when helpful. I have an individualized and strengths-based framework, recognizing the centrality of the mind-body connection and the importance of holistic care.
I work with people across the spectrums of gender, race, sexuality, age, and class. I strive to create a safe and accessible space for all identities, body types, and abilities. I offer therapy for a range of experiences including: anxiety, self-esteem, navigating life transitions, identity, family dynamics, relationships, grief and loss, and trauma.
