Josie Mansergh-Johnson, MHC-LP, MBACP
Resilience isn't about gritting your teeth and "toughing it out" alone. In a high-pressure university environment, it’s easy to feel like you have to be stoic to survive. But my work is grounded in a more compassionate truth: Resilience requires connection. It begins with having someone who can truly listen, understand, and "hold space" for your feelings.
I am here to be that person for you. I offer a deeply relational space where we can move away from just "surviving" and toward a life of genuine connection and clarity.
I bring a unique background to my practice, with dual clinical training in both the U.S. and the U.K. As an educator and clinician who has lived internationally, I understand how our environments and cultural contexts shape who we are. I specialize in working with Emerging Adults navigating:
- Trauma & Addiction Recovery: Uncovering the root causes of pain without judgment.
Identity & Family Systems: Understanding where you come from to decide where you want to go.
- Cultural & Life Transitions: Navigating the complex shifts of young adulthood.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I blend the depth of Psychodynamic and Jungian theory with practical, evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, and Sensorimotor techniques. This means we will work on both understanding your patterns and building the mind-body tools to change them.
Working with me is a collaborative process of discovery. Let’s work together to unearth your true potential and recognize your inherent worth.
