Leila Mortazavi
Hi, I’m so glad you are here. If your life has come to a crossroad and you would like someone to walk alongside you as you navigate your journey, you have come to the right place. Feeling uncertain, worried, or hopeless can be scary and hard to cope with. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to increase your self awareness and improve your ability to cope with stressors. My approach is client-centered, and targets balance between mind and body. The focus areas of my practice are women’s issues, bicultural identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorder. I have several years of experience working in the field in inpatient and outpatient community mental health settings.
I care about an array of social justice issues, most prominently disrupting racial oppression and promoting equity. I consider myself an ally to people who identify as LGBTQ+. I am deeply passionate about women's issues and navigating identity.
I am so glad you are taking a moment to prioritize your well-being, and look forward to working with you!
