Michelle Carey
Michelle is a mental health intern who is finishing up her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She attended the University of Minnesota for her undergraduate degree in Child Psychology. She has a passion for working with children, teens, and young adults to help them through those pivotal years in life. She builds strong relationships with clients through connection, learning, and giving them a better understanding of what is going on throughout their bodies.
Michelle provides a space that is safe, nonjudgmental, and accepting, while helping identify and work towards your goals. She applies attachment theory, person centered, trauma-Informed, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness based approaches. She works collaboratively and implements therapy techniques that will match your needs.
