Naima Yeye, Park Avenue Psychotherapy
Welcome! Thank you for being here and your willingness to create positive changes so you can experience your life more fully. Starting therapy and connecting with a therapist isn’t always an easy task and often causes some anxiety or uncertainty. I want to acknowledge your decision and let you know that I am already proud of you for making this commitment to not doing it alone! I am a warm, compassionate therapist that will provide a space where you have the opportunity to be vulnerable without expectations or judgement. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents and adults. My specialty is working with individuals experiencing ongoing challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, family matters, school/job related stressors, life transitions, relationship concerns and more.
I take a client-centered approach to therapy and recognize each person has different needs and unique experiences that they carry with them, all of which are valuable during the time spent in session with me. I am experienced in Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. I am intentional in working with my clients to explore their strengths, address stressors/barriers to change and facilitate their journey in creating real changes in their lives. I will work with you to ensure that you feel heard, safe and motivated while exploring emotions in session.
When I’m not working, I am focused on my other passion that is cooking! I enjoy exploring and working with different recipes and making meaningful connections with others through food.
