Hello! I’m Sakena, and I’m a Master’s student in the Social Work Program at Binghamton University. I aim to create a safe space for clients to comfortably navigate through any difficulties. I understand everyone is different, and with that, I make sure my approaches are in each client’s best interest.

When working with clients, I use approaches such as active listening, skill building, and mindfulness to help clients through the difficult experiences they’re facing. These skills come from a holistic approach that is person-centered and follows CBT and SFBT.

My goal as your therapist is to help you reach your goals. I believe this journey is a collaborative process, and you can progress through it at your own pace. I hope to help clients explore how past experiences have shaped their current emotions and way of life. So together, we can highlight your strengths and aim for clarity and balance.

Sakena Kearse is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. Sol Health is a digital health startup that offers $30 therapy to Gen Zs by connecting them with therapist-in-training accruing clinical hours.

Sliding Scale Offered: A sliding scale fee "slides" to try to meet the needs of clients who are unable to pay the full fee. Details can be discussed upon consultation.
