Sarah Bord
I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, burnout, compassion fatigue, and socioeconomical, environmental and climate concerns. I work with individuals that want to put the work into improving the quality of their lives and finding balance within their core values, beliefs, self-worth, interpersonal relationships, work/college, leisure time, time outdoors, and lifestyle. I work with individuals on identifying the disruption in these areas of their lives that come from stressors, distorted ways of thinking, unhealthy habits and behaviors, isolation, and a disengagement from the natural world.
I specialize in CBT and ecotherapy walk and talk model. CBT is goal oriented and focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thinking and behavior. Ecotherapy, also known as nature based therapy, utilizes nature to benefit from its healing capabilities. I integrate the two approaches which allows for increased growth and insight to find balance.
