I work best with college and graduate students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Many of the students I support are navigating academic pressure, relationship stress, family dynamics, identity questions, or major life transitions. Some feel like they’re constantly “pushing through,” even when they’re exhausted or unsure of what they want. In therapy, I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, understand what’s coming up for you, and learn practical ways to cope, set boundaries, and feel more grounded. My approach is collaborative, honest, and focused on helping you feel more confident and emotionally steady in your day-to-day life. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, direct, and supportive while also offering real tools you can use outside of sessions, we may be a good fit.

School, work, career goals, personal & social life, mental & physical health - how do I keep up with it all? You're needing a place to help make sense of it all and FEEL like you've got it as much as you hope you do. While this totally is a lot to balance, it is also totally within your capabilities to make it happen. YOU'VE GOT THIS- let's make it feel this way!

Hi, I’m Claudia, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) under supervision based in Los Angeles. I work with college students and young adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, identity questions, and big life transitions. I take a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. My work is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from relational, somatic, and parts-based approaches (like IFS), while always centering what feels most supportive and accessible for you. Therapy with me isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about creating a safe space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s going on, and build tools that actually fit your life. As someone who has balanced school, work, and major transitions myself, I understand how overwhelming this phase of life can feel. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, family dynamics, or simply feeling stuck or unsure, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m an Associate Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in Los Angeles. I am able to work with clients in California and Connecticut. I have had the privilege of working with teens, adults, parents and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and beyond. My heart lies in providing care that's not just effective, but deeply compassionate. As a mother of two and experience working in residential treatment for adolescents, I have experienced firsthand the challenges that parents face from pregnancy, toddlerhood, and adolescence. My priority is to create a safe space for exploration and growth by making you feel seen, heard, and understood. Through the use of empathy, non-judgement, compassion, and curiosity, I support my clients in exploring challenges, patterns, and transitions in their lives allowing them to gain a deeper awareness of who they are and who they strive to be. Collaboratively identifying goals with my clients allows for a personalized approach tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Personal wellness is an ever evolving journey in the human process. The journey begins with a choice to acknowledge an issue, stressor, or area of desired growth to create a different outcome. Whether facing a new challenge, or struggling with a long standing issue, seeking professional support can be the choice that helps empower and create meaningful change. It is a privilege to serve my clients and to help them on their journeys toward meaning and personal fulfillment. It is my goal to help my clients be their best selves, even in the midst of fluctuating circumstances. My clients describe me as easy to talk to & one who challenges them, balancing listening & feedback during sessions. I do my best to tailor treatment to fit individual needs. My clients leave sessions with tools to apply between appointments. I believe growth requires work both in & out of the session. I have more than 20 years combined experience in medical and acute behavioral social work, crisis intervention, counseling, and higher education.

I am a board-certified, Cornell and Mount Sinai-trained adult and child psychiatrist in New York and California. My approach to treatment is holistic and firmly rooted in the science of the brain, combining psychotherapy (for individuals, families, and couples) with nutrition, lifestyle modification, as well as state-of-the-art medication treatment, when helpful. I view each person as a complex individual with a unique story to tell, so I take time getting to know my clients and work collaboratively to develop a targeted plan to achieve their treatment goals. I have expertise in treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, tic, ADHD, ODD, personality disorders, and eating disorders in children, teens, adults, and in pregnant and breastfeeding women. I also work with adults transitioning into parenthood, and with infants and toddlers. I am available for consultations and second opinions. Welcome—I’m Targol. I support students, young adults, and emerging professionals who are navigating one of life’s most uncertain and transformative chapters. You might feel caught between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming—managing school, work, relationships, family expectations, identity, or just trying to make sense of it all. On the outside, it may look like you’ve got things under control, but inside, you could be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of your next steps. If you’ve ever thought, “I should have this figured out by now” or “Why does everyone else seem to have it together but me?”—you’re in good company. Many of my clients share those same thoughts. In our work together, we’ll create a space where you can show up just as you are—without pressure or performance—so you can begin to feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally sensitive—I show up with curiosity, not judgment, and tailor our work to reflect your unique values, strengths, and needs. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. It can feel like a deep exhale. We’ll figure things out—together.
