At The Sanctuary Collective, you will find passionate professionals with varying backgrounds who are ready to support you through your journey. Our counselors are independent business owners who collectively share the physical space as well as beliefs and approaches to counseling practices. Our fee structure and cancellation policies are also aligned with each other to offer consistency across providers. We all need a place to unpack our brokenness, pain and struggle. We desire to have someone listen wholeheartedly to our story. Our desire is to be a place that is safe, without judgement to create change within ourselves so that we can engage in the world. Our belief is that we have a mind, body and soul that works as one and, from this mindset, we take a holistic (whole-person) approach for the most complete healing for you to thrive and be well. We would love to be a part of creating a safe space for you to shed your old narratives and embrace a brave new chapter. It might be scary or uncomfortable, but you are worth it!
Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT), and I work with students who are navigating all the messy, beautiful, confusing parts of being human—especially during a time like college, when everything feels like it’s shifting. You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you’re becoming, and that’s okay. It’s normal to want some support while you're figuring things out. In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s calm, non-judgmental, and focused on you. I use a mix of approaches—CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused work—but more than anything, I show up with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace and your story. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and heard. I bring my own love of creativity, deep listening, and belief in people’s resilience into the room with me. You don’t have to have the right words or a plan, just bring yourself. We’ll figure it out together.
College is a time of transition and change. This can be a time of struggle and existential anxiety for many people. Everyone has times of uncertainty. I will help you explore who you are and what your predicaments are as you become more yourself. You do not have to do this alone. I have many years experience working with people in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics at all levels. Together we can explore your life and relationships to discover ways in which you can live more authentically, in alignment with your values. I trained and worked in England before moving to Boulder in 2010. I have worked with students and academics all over the world and have over 30 years experience as a therapist; I bring all of that with me as I meet each new client. I will help you describe, clarify and unravel your relationship to the world, your self and other people. We do not have to start with your childhood.
It is brave to begin a healing journey. To get to a place where living life can be a little bit easier... takes commitment to yourself. Together, we can manage your stress better, improve your productivity, decrease testing anxiety, manage relationships and even heal old wounds. I am confident you are making the right choice for yourself. I have experience treating people through the entire stage of the academic careers; from entering higher education to PhD Candidates since 2003. I understand the unique struggles and pressures that both traditional and not-traditional students experience. I have also enjoyed working with University staff and facilty. My training and experience are specialized to treat things like trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness. I use traditional models of talk therapy, body based therapy, EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Therapy. Welcome! I know from my own experiences as well as the many clients I have worked with over the years that therapy is an important pathway towards growth and healing. We will create a space where you can be open, expressive, learn new ways of seeing yourself and the world, new ways to cope with the challenges of life, and create new paths to relationship. We work together to bring wholeness, connection and a rediscovery of your strength and purpose. I am sensitive to the parts of our selves that make us unique, which includes different expressions of gender, sexuality, culture, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, political ideology, religion, LGTBQIA2S+ identity, and intersectionality. I use mindfulness, my own therapy and consultation to help me address bias that might come up in my work. I partner with clients with an orientation towards social justice, honoring difference and our own deep knowledge of ourselves and our needs.

We work primarily with folks experiencing difficulty with ADHD or attention struggles, anxiety, PTSD, and depression. We use a brain map (qEEG) to measure baseline electrical activity, and then design an individualized protocol to then habituate more adaptive, efficient, and flexible brainwave patterns. Training occurs twice weekly for around 30-50 sessions.
