I consider therapy a collaborative practice in communication and connection, and work with couples and individuals. My open-minded and accepting approach to therapy helps people heal trauma, process loss, manage stress, make strong decisions and better understand relationships. I draw from many different disciplines to treat the whole person. Welcoming and practical, my approach doesn’t depend on any specific philosophy—I get to know you, your needs and your goals—then tailor the experience to fit you and your life. My life’s work has focused on progressive and holistic education and wellness. Comfortable connecting with all types of people, I've counseled and taught in settings from farms to prisons to corporate offices. I started my practice in early 2015 while also developing an Emotional Intelligence curriculum that I teach to urban, high-tech professionals, start-ups, and corporations. I have an M.A. and Ed.M in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University with a focus in Multicultural Counseling. I have been trained in anti-racism and LGBT SafeZone, yoga and meditation, and strength-based interpersonal psychotherapy with Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) components. My specialization with couples is Emotionally Focused Therapy, for which I recommend first reading Sue Johnson's Hold Me Tight. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

Hi I'm Alison Cross! I am a psychotherapist, and I provide both in person and virtual services in Georgia and North Carolina. It’s important to have an idea of what feels like the right fit when you’re looking for a qualified person to talk to. The problem is, how do you know? So here's what it looks like with me. When my client leaves our session, my goal is for them to feel heard and respected. I want my clients to feel like they’re talking to a real person. How else can trust be built? My style has been described as 'down to earth, gentle, and encouraging.' I also have a great sense of humor that comes in only when appropriate. I view therapy as a safety net for the various issues clients bring. I will collaborate with you from the very first session on goals for your time. Some people I work with prefer to set the agenda for our time together, with just a few interjections from me. Understanding the big picture and getting to the heart of the matter are things I'm good at. I have also completed the Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems and Level 1 training in the Embodied Reocvery Model. I love using these models because they are beautifully client focused. My goal is to develop a positive therapeutic relationship with you. When that happens, hope is tangible and the spirit opens to new life and new beginnings. All sessions with me will be virtual unless I'm in Atlanta and we can coordinate an in person session.

My therapeutic style is empathetic, non-judgmental, warm, all in a safe environment for clients to discuss their challenges. I like to incorporate humor in my sessions to help you feel more comfortable. I find it an honor to provide support and a listening ear to my clients to better understand them as a whole person and help guide them to their own solutions. Therapy will help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and reactions, aiding you in healing and growth, leading towards a life that feels more meaningful, grounded, and joyful. Welcome to Manifesting Greatness Therapy LLC, where our motto is “A safe space for healing!” Healing is unique for each person. This may include but is not limited to, repairing relationships, improving communication, learning and improving self-worth, and evaluating stagnation in your life. We strive to encourage and challenge our clients to be their best selves. This environment is a non-judgmental space where you are expected to show up with flaws and concerns to address and not feel the pressure of being perfect. We appreciate a client who can show up being truly who they are, and work towards continuous growth. Couples establish ways to increase connection emotionally, mentally, and physically, while rediscovering what connected them initially. We work with families to address barriers hindering the family from relating and bonding with each other peacefully. If you ever felt leery of talking to others with the fear of being judged, the information being used against you, or feeling alone without the right support, Manifesting Greatness Therapy is the safe space for you. Find comfort in being authentically you, develop healthy sustainable relationships, and establish emotional balance in a relaxed environment.
I am able to build rapport quickly with people and clients in general. I am willing to work with people who are ready to receive the help they need. I am easy to talk to, try to be a good listener, honest, up front, and aware of issues related to immigrants as I am originally from Pakistan and a practicing Muslim. I love working with students specially as they are in the process of transitioning in life and often times need more help with coping.

At RivaWell, I work best with people who are ready for change. You may be high functioning but internally overwhelmed. You may struggle with anxiety, burnout, overthinking, or feeling disconnected from yourself. You might be navigating a life transition, building something new, or realizing that what once worked no longer fits. The clients who thrive here are self aware, open to reflection, and willing to take responsibility for their growth. They are not looking for a quick fix. They want clarity, strategy, and realignment. At RivaWell, we focus on getting to the root, strengthening your nervous system, and helping you make aligned decisions that support the life you are building. If you are ready to do the work and want structured, thoughtful support, I invite you to book a consultation. Let’s determine if we are a good fit.

In my clinical work, I thoroughly enjoy getting to know clients and their families. The most important aspect is to provide a safe and comfortable environment so clients can form a trusting, open, honest relationship in order to facilitate change. On my end, that requires relatability as well as sincerity to meet the client where they are as well as embracing their individualized experiences. The overarching goal is to get each client to overcome personal obstacles, reach their full potential, strengthen or improve their relationship with family members, and learn appropriate skills to help them succeed in the everyday world. As all people have unique strengths and interests, treatment plans are individualized to ensure that they match the person's needs. Whether that is lessening the burden of anxious thoughts, learning how to get oneself out of a depressed mood state, teaching skills to help calm down when agitated, or discussing social interactions to feel more comfortable, each individual requires their own road map. I enjoy applying a person-centered, strength-based approach as well as weaving in cognitive-behavioral techniques. Counselling sessions are goal-driven; however, goals are developed in a cooperative manner, including the client, myself, and (when appropriate), other family members

My name is Dr. Patrice Mann, and I am a Harvard and Emory-trained, board-certified, adult psychiatrist, offering psychotherapy and medication management for Georgia residents in this 100% virtual practice. My goal is to provide tools and insights for your most pressing challenge today, but also for you to carry forward on your journey. I am currently accepting new patients, with appointments available 2-3 weeks from inquiry, and offering some evening and Saturday options. You have been trying to do the right things in your relationships but it seems like everything you do either backfires or results in the same conflict. This leaves you anxious and feeling as though there is no hope in your family, social or love life. You have the suspicion that past childhood trauma or previous feelings of abandonment are impacting your current romantic relationships. You may have explored your attachment style and want to get a handle on how to not let your past impact your future. Maybe you are someone who gets along well in your relationships - perhaps, too well because you aren’t implementing healthy boundaries. You’re drained but don’t know how to get out of the cycle because everyone now expects for you to be the “strong” friend, or adult child. Perhaps you are someone who is going through the difficult transition into separation, divorce, and or coparenting. You might even be experiencing one or any combination of the things above, and find yourself over relying on coping skills like emotional eating, drinking, using substances, etc. that are counterproductive.
