I understand that deciding to start therapy can be difficult. At one point in my life, I was faced with that same decision. Often, the hardest part of therapy is looking in the mirror and confronting the experiences and choices that brought you to this moment. It takes courage to acknowledge your feelings and commit to making a change for yourself. My therapeutic style is client-centered, rooted in the belief that genuine, collaborative relationships form the cornerstone of meaningful healing and growth. This integrative framework allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, fostering self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change. You can expect their first session with me to be warm, exploratory, unveiling, and empowering, a mix of thoughtful reflection, practical goal-setting, and gentle curiosity about what’s driving current challenges and how to create positive change.

I’m Ja’Sharee Bush (she/her), a therapist who provides a warm, supportive space for teens, adults, and couples seeking greater emotional clarity, confidence, and healthier relationships. I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm, helping them build insight and practical skills for lasting change. My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I believe you are the expert of your own life. I meet you where you are and collaborate with you to better understand your experiences, strengthen coping skills, and move toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy with me is a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported—without judgment or pressure. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Play Therapy, and Couples Therapy to support emotional growth, communication, and healing. My work focuses on helping clients develop emotional awareness, improve relationships, and build confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My style is engaging, down-to-earth, and compassionate. Whether you’re feeling confused, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted, we’ll work together to reconnect you with your strengths, restore balance, and create meaningful change. If you’re looking for therapy for teens, adults, or couples in Georgia, including online therapy, I’d be honored to support you on your healing journey.

Sometimes life is just hard, you are going along, and everything is fine, when, suddenly, wham!...everything changes, and leaves you asking, "now what?" You were taught how to do Algebra, but not how to deal with the situation you find yourself in. For us, therapy is about finding the right tools for you so that you can, in the healthiest way possible, thrive in the hardest times. We want you to know that you are amazing, and infinitely capable, and that sometimes you just need a little bit of help learning how to deal with life's curve balls. Most of our work has focused on treating trauma, and working through the hard things that have happened in a client's life. We have assisted many individuals process through and overcome childhood trauma, sexual assault, neglect, abuse, abandonment, anxiety, depression, and many of the other problems created by trauma. We believe in treating the whole person. While you may come to us because you are struggling with emotional concerns, we believe that the mind and body are connected, and will work with you to help you improve your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like your emotions are running the show, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work with adults who are navigating stress, difficult experiences, and emotions that can make everyday life feel heavier than it should. You might feel like you should be coping better, but something keeps getting in the way. Therapy is a space where we slow things down, make sense of patterns, and build practical skills that actually work in real life. My approach is collaborative, practical, and supportive. I draw from DBT, CBT, trauma-informed, and person-centered therapy, but I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. I focus on emotional regulation, self-compassion, and helping you feel more grounded and in control without asking you to be perfect. I approach my work with a balance of clinical expertise and lived understanding, always guided by what best supports my clients. Having been on both sides of the therapeutic space, I value creating an environment that feels safe, affirming, and human.

I believe that hope and healing is an attainable goal for everyone. I work with individuals and families coping with depression, self esteem, anxiety, behavior problems, relationship issues, adoption, grief, domestic violence, and multicultural issues to help them them recover from trauma, refocus on the things that bring true joy, and find healing. I believe that when clients learn to refocus their thoughts and make key behavioral changes, they are able to find peace and renewed wellness. A Christ centered approach is offered and discussions of faith are welcome while not mandatory. Client's views are respected and honored. I operate primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral model, focusing on the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how to bring about change. This approach is well suited to working with a wide variety of issues including Depressive and Anxiety Disorders. Millie, my therapy dog in training, also accompanies me to the office some days. I grew up in several countries all over the world which now allows me to offer counseling from an expert point of view on the unique challenges facing "third culture kids" and their families. I am also well versed in Latin American culture and am fluent in Spanish.

Hi there! My name is Kennedy Inman, APC, and I work for Creative Center for Wellness in Athens, GA. I work with a lot of different people on a lot of different things. My favorite kind of people are complex and messy! I use various pop culture metaphors and humor in my sessions, and believe that we don't have to be defined by what has happened to us, but what we choose to become moving forward. I use therapy modalities like Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which uses eye movements and narration to enable cognitive reprocessing. I also utilize psychoeducation to help teach and develop coping skills, emotional regulation skills, communication skills, etc. My goal as a counselor is to help you live the life you want to live safely, healthily, and in your own voice.

Hello, I’m Joanna, a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist dedicated to helping adults, college students, and student-athletes navigate life’s challenges. College can be an exciting time, but balancing academic pressure, relationships, independence, finances, athletic responsibilities, and expectations for the future can also feel overwhelming. Whether you are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, co-dependency, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, or everyday stress, I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. I also provide therapy for athletes experiencing performance anxiety, difficulty balancing academics and athletics, burnout, injuries, identity concerns, low confidence, and stress related to competition or team expectations. Together, we will explore the challenges you are facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to strengthen your coping skills, confidence, emotional well-being, and overall performance. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your individual needs. I earned my degrees from Northern Kentucky University with honors, specializing in Trauma-Informed Care, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate to expand my clinical expertise. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to ensure that treatment is personalized to your experiences and goals. You do not have to navigate college, athletics, or life’s challenges alone. Taking the first step toward therapy is a courageous decision, and I am here to support you throughout the process. Together, we can work toward helping you heal, grow, build resilience, and create a life that feels balanced and meaningful.

I believe every one of us is a good person at heart, we are all trying our best and laziness is a myth. You may have a hard time believing that about yourself. You may have been taught (by families or systems) that you are bad, lazy or selfish. You are scared to make decisions or trust your intuition. You want to love yourself the way you love others! I offer a radically different perspective. I think it is possible to love yourself a little bit at a time, take things less personally and create more space in your life for peace.

I am passionate about supporting others in their emotional, social, and academic growth. As someone who has always been drawn to helping others, I find immense fulfillment in guiding individuals through challenges and helping them realize their full potential. As a school counselor, I have always believed that every person deserves the opportunity to succeed, not only academically but emotionally and socially as well. During my academic journey, I became fascinated by the ways in which emotional health impacts learning and overall development. This led me to pursue a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and later, a certification in School Counseling. I have completed internships where I was able to work directly with students, teachers, and families, providing guidance and support in a variety of settings. I aim to equip clients with the tools they need to manage stress, resolve conflicts, and build self-confidence. I am extremely passionate about assisting others in navigating critical life transitions such as dealing with family issues, preparing for grade level changes, and other life transitions. I have helped students cope with stress and anxiety related to academic pressure and social struggles. My approach is always person-centered, grounded in understanding their unique needs and aspirations.
