Wise Woman Therapy
You can be externally successful in life but internally worried you are going to have a total meltdown. I want to help you get better at taking care of yourself so you can achieve whatever awesome things you are here to contribute to the world. My career spans decades but for some reason the majority of women working with me are in their 20s and 30s. I help clients get some new perspective and stop beating themselves up. You may need to make some very real changes. It can be hard work but you don’t need to do it alone. Maybe you need to get better at speaking up for yourself, making decisions, managing your time. Maybe your relationship with substances needs to change. I help clients process their stress and add coping skills to build a personal routine that improves daily life. Many women I work with have gone through traumatic experiences in the past. It is important to me that the woman I am working with directs when and if we discuss the actual traumatic events. What I have learned is that adding better coping is possible with or without dredging details. Healing is possible but it takes work and support. I am also dedicated to helping clients expand their supports even if it's just a little bit at a time. I know it's tough to ask for help. I'd rather DIY everything but I know how useful it is to have therapy while you're in school. It saved my sanity when I went to therapy the first time when I was in college. For those wanting online therapy I use Google Meet for telehealth. It is completely HIPAA compliant. I also meet with clients for Walk and Talk therapy sessions when it seems useful and appropriate. We're here because we've been there, so we can't help but to be wholeheartedly invested in your journey. We want to provide you the warmth, validation, and affirmation that can feel so rare in adulthood. Working with us will challenge you, but it will also feel like coming home. We're fired up about your freedom and fight for it alongside you. Always intersectional, pleasure-positive, and identity-celebrating, we have a low tolerance for boxes, assumptions, and systems that stifle your creative healing. We are your unashamed and unapologetic accomplices in doing life-changing, culture-shifting work. We're obsessed with staying up-to-date on affirming, anti-oppressive language and concepts, and think learning directly from queer and BIPOC community leaders is just as important as gathering data from research. We believe in the transformative power of accurate information about sex, gender, and relationships.

I believe therapy should be a warm, authentic, and collaborative space where you can bring your whole self without fear of judgment. Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from ourselves and those around us. Whether you are navigating anxiety or low mood, moving through a major life adjustment, exploring your identity, or striving to build healthier boundaries, you do not have to carry it alone. Healthy connections are vital to our overall well-being, and I view our therapeutic relationship as a powerful tool for healing. In our sessions, we create a secure, real-world space to practice building and experiencing healthy relational dynamics at your own pace. My approach is tailored to your individual needs, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and relational frameworks to help you process past patterns and foster genuine, lasting growth. I am committed to providing an inclusive, compassionate, and affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations, including LGBTQ+ folks, POC, and cisgender men and women. Together, we will uncover your strengths, honor your story, and work toward creating meaningful, lasting change.

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a major life transition, such as relationship changes, divorce, parenting challenges, or career uncertainty, you don't have to face it alone. I believe therapy should do more than help you understand your struggles; it should help you develop the confidence, skills, and resilience to move forward. Together, we'll create a warm, collaborative space where you feel heard, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Some things are hard to put into words, which is why I draw on art-making, body-awareness, and other expressive tools alongside traditional talk therapy. Based in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood and available throughout Illinois via telehealth, I work with children, teens, and adults at a pace that allows them to fully express themselves, understand their stories, develop self-compassion, regulate their nervous systems, and build coping skills that work for them. In our early sessions, I spend time getting to know you, what brings you in, what has and hasn't worked before, and what you most want from this process. I specialize in walking with those navigating childhood trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, and depression. My approach to therapy is relational and grounded in an understanding of trauma, while drawing techniques from many approaches, including ACT, parts work, play therapy, and expressive arts. Faith integration is also welcome in our work upon request. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space for you to honestly and authentically share the funny, uncomfortable, confusing, and painful parts of life. If you’re looking for a therapist who will slow down, listen deeply, and truly value your story, please send a message, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

During our initial sessions we spend time trust building by getting to know one another, creating a safe environment, and establishing goals. I collaborate with clients through creative expression to develop a plan for addressing issues at hand, decrease stress, and increase mind-body connection.

Hope and Prosper
The process of starting therapy can be awkward and scary but life-changing. It is a relief to speak with someone who doesn’t know you to form judgments. We all have the ability to change with the right tools. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and grow from there. At Hope and Prosper, I tend to utilize an integrative approach with cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy for an effective, personalized treatment. Clients often describe me as insightful, humorous, enthusiastic, and caring. These natural characteristics that I exhibit embrace my personality as a clinician. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience therapizing children, adolescents, teens, and adults. I obtained my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Gregory Concodora
I've worked with children, teenagers, and adults struggling with significant emotional and behavioral challenges for 16 years and have found that no matter the difficulty things can improve with hard work. Whether one's goal is emotion regulation, behavior change, or the exploration and cultivation of identity and meaning, the use of a therapeutic relationship based on honesty, authenticity, and mutual respect can have a profound impact on one's life course. While this work is challenging it can be life changing, allowing a person to develop their talents and gifts in ways that enrich their lives and the lives of others. My clinical specialty is work with young people who are struggling significantly with their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, including those who have not found therapeutic success elsewhere. I also tend to work well with kids and young adults who are undecided as to their interest in psychotherapy, and who have strong personalities. I have extensive experience with complex psychological difficulties and believe that successful therapy requires dedication and hard work on the part of both participants. I also believe it's important that this work includes a search for meaning and understanding on the one hand and the development of practical, useful life skills on the other.

Will Wang
Hi! I’m Will, a trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapist based in Chicago. You may be used to holding it all together, as the responsible one, the high-achiever, the bridge between different worlds. As a student, you might be navigating academic pressure, family expectations, and questions about identity or belonging, all while trying to keep up on the surface. Somewhere along the way, you lost the plot on what you actually want, not what your parents or those around you want. Therapy with me offers a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented, grounded in relational-cultural and psychodynamic therapy, with practical tools from ACT and DBT when helpful. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the stress or stuckness and work toward a way of living that feels more aligned and sustainable. I’m especially passionate about working with students of color, particularly Asian American and BIPOC students, who may be navigating identity, culture, and intergenerational dynamics. As the child of Taiwanese and Korean immigrants, I’m conversational in Mandarin and Korean, and we can incorporate them in ways that help you feel more at home. I’m a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Chicago. If any of this resonates, feel free to reach out. I’d love to chat.
