I specialize in supporting folks who are navigating the impacts of complex trauma. Complex trauma can occur as a result of violence in the home, relationships, school systems, community environments, the workplace, & systemic oppression. I take an in-depth, trauma-informed psychodynamic approach to therapy that feels accessible and relational in nature. With an in-depth approach to therapy, I strive to create a safe space for clients as they process difficult emotions, identify patterns, dismantle shame blockages, and repair intrapersonal trust. My approach to therapy works well for those who are seeking a deeper exploration of themselves and the world around them. In our first session together, you can expect me to be compassionate, curious, and highly attentive as I begin to know you at a pace that feels right for you.
I specialize in therapy for young and emerging adult women with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and OCD to help them find balance and gain new perspectives on how they see the world and themselves. I challenge Perfectionists, Overthinkers, and People Pleasers to step out of their black-and-white thinking. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that have protected you in the past, dive deeper into your experiences, and notice the stories that your mind is telling you. We’ll work with both your mind and body, helping you tune into how your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses are connected. As an integrative therapist, I blend evidence-based practices with a human, relational approach—drawing from different modalities to meet you where you are and what you need most. My goal is to provide a balanced, trauma-informed, and holistic approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and emotions. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, build healthier boundaries, strengthen your self-trust, and create more space for flexibility and self-compassion, feel free to reach out or schedule a free consultation through my website—I’d be honored to support you!

I am a short-term therapist who works specifically with clients with chronic health conditions. Over the course of 20 sessions, we learn all about what is happening in your body and brain, learn and practice coping skills to manage anxiety related to your chronic medical condition, and have the option to complete hypnotherapy for chronic illness as well. If you are struggling with mental health related to a chronic health condition, and especially if you are experiencing high amounts of anxiety and low quality of life related to health symptoms, you will be a great fit for what I provide. If you have never done therapy before, or if you have found that your current therapist doesn’t quite “get it,” and you’re hoping to work with someone that has an intimate knowledge of chronic illness and hospital systems, then you will be a great fit. I also work alongside your full-time therapist if you have a therapist you love and would like to stay with while we complete our work together. I am also a good fit for someone who is specifically seeking out an LGBTQ therapist. I only offer virtual therapy at this time.
Effective therapy creates meaningful, lasting, joyful change. As your therapist I can help you resolve the inner and outer conflicts that create pain and exhaustion. Life brings unchosen experiences. Sometimes we feel hurt, scared, or deeply alone. Sometimes what happens seems too big to manage. For 25+ years I have had the privilege of helping people learn to live as their "best self," able to manage their moods, thoughts and situations with compassion and skill, to make changes to reach their goals, and to find happiness. I lived and worked in Africa for 6 years, and have helped people from many cultures find their joy. My specialty is helping people understand their unique "recipe" of biology, upbringing, relationships, and current situations, and how they might work with their "ingredients" to create immediate and long-lasting positive change. My approach is practical. I integrate psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies, internal and strategic family systems, EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness-based stress management. Depression, anxiety, loneliness, frustration, pulls towards behaviors that lead to pain...whatever is interfering with your well-being is worth changing. Together we can produce change. Please EMAIL

The Narrative Network offers collaborative therapy for people across Massachusetts and brings therapists together for supervision, training, and ongoing relationships with the ideas and practices called narrative therapy. We believe people are more than the problems they are facing. Difficulties take shape in lives, relationships, histories, and social worlds — and therapy can create room to notice the values, knowledges, commitments, and relationships that may have become harder to see when life is difficult.

I offer short term therapy to bridge the gap in care.
I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, self-esteem, and personality disorders; I also have the unique niche of working researchers/academics as well as those who have lived abroad. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a researcher at Harvard Medical School, University of Pennsylvania, and as a Fulbright scholar in Budapest, Hungary, studying psychotherapeutic interventions for anxiety disorders and personality disorders. My work has resulted in 20+ publications in research journals and popular science magazines. Having lived in Europe for several years, I deeply understand bi-cultural and cross-cultural challenges. My background as an academic researcher also has shaped my approach, allowing me to connect with and support clients from diverse backgrounds in a meaningful way! You are NOT alone! Navigating college is hard alone. Trying to do it during a pandemic has been just brutal! I have been working in a college counseling center for the past 14 years, and continue to do so. I recognize that not all students have access to services at their college and hope that I might be able to support those students by filling in the gap. With more than 20 years of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, I am here to support those ready to take the next steps in prioritizing their mental health. With kindness, compassion, humor and focus, my goal is to provide guidance, perspective and insight in focusing on achievable steps to identify and strengthen your own skills to help you navigate any of the challenges or goals you are ready to tackle. The same way in which we will turn to others for information and encouragement when addressing physical pain or recovery from injury, my goal is to provide an environment that is holistic, collaborative and forward focused to help you achieve the healthy balance, life, relationships, etc. that you deserve! Teletherapy helps you achieve noteworthy milestones and saves time, money, and energy over traditional in-person therapy. When you are ready, let's unpack, explore and understand where you have been, where you are and where you want to get to!
We all encounter difficult stressors, setbacks and experiences that sometimes cause us pain. We may be challenged by our relationships, previous trauma, difficult transitions, depression or anxiety. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe place for you to explore your struggles, and give you objective feedback and guidance to help you improve your life. Whether you'd like to improve your mood, strengthen relationships or need support coping with a difficult circumstance I can help. Clinically, clients and I collaborate to reinforce adaptive behaviors, and understand your unique strengths so that you may live a meaningful and satisfying life. In therapy, we focus on both problem-solving difficult situations, as well as developing an understanding of long-term patterns that contribute to your distress.

What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.
Kailey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, both from the University of Connecticut. Kailey is a warm, easygoing therapist who believes that therapy should feel like a safe space—a place where you can show up as yourself, no masks, no judgment, just real, honest conversation. She understands that life can feel overwhelming at times, but with the right support, believes everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and move forward in a way that feels right for them. Kailey’s approach is all about making therapy feel approachable and down-to-earth. She is not here to give you a bunch of jargon or leave you feeling more confused. Instead, she meets you where you’re at, listens to your unique story, and works with you to create meaningful change in a way that fits your life. Her therapeutic areas of focus include interpersonal dynamics, relationships, life transitions, anxiety, body image, self-esteem, and women’s issues. She utilizes an integrative, humanistic approach to therapy, including elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic theory, attachment theory and mindfulness. Though Kailey currently resides in Northern Virginia, she was born and raised in Connecticut and is a true New Englander at heart. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing the fife and trumpet, watching UConn sports, and visiting local coffee shops. Kailey is also an advocate for human rights and social justice.
