I'm a genderqueer & neurodivergent pet parent. Also a psychologist who practices the neuroaffective relational model (NARM®) through an anti-oppressive & queer liberation lens. Hoping for a future that feels a lot less oppressive and a lot more liberating for every single one of us. Supporting those at the intersections healing from internalized shame, oppression based & complex trauma. We will hold space for the impact of oppression while also centering your hopes for yourself. Many of the queer, trans & nonbinary adults I serve also also hold lived experiences of the following: a) neurodivergence like ADHD & autism; b) body stuff such as disability, chronic pain, & chronic illness c) race & cultural backgrounds including BIPOC, 1st-2nd gen immigrants, or mixed race/light skin; & d) those in marginalized bodies who are fighting against diet culture & weight loss industrial complex in a world that pushes body size & shape modification at all turns (e.g., trans students struggling with disordered eating recovery & fat folks trying to ground in fat liberation). I am a certified NARM therapist (Neuroaffective Relational Model), as well as a certified Body Trust Provider. My approach centers radical healing through an anti oppressive lens, cultivating shame resilience and self compassion. This includes exploring identity and navigating those 'not good enough' or 'too much' experiences that tend to trigger shame. Clinical 1:1 services via telehealth only for adults located in MA and RI, as well as telehealth in PsyPACT locations (e.g., CO, WA, IL, MD, VT, DC, MN, & CT). Only see 5-12 clients weekly. Though not a specialty, I occasionally support families, couples, and polycules. Limited availability for Tufts University Student Health Plan (UHCSR carveout). Others tend to use their out of network outpatient mental health insurance benefits for partial reimbursement. Check website to view up to date availability & complete inquiry form (website address /inquiry) - Body Trust™ provider = Anti Diet, Fat Positive, HAES informed. Esp for those healing from the harms of weight loss & diet industrial complexes. - NARM = NeuroAffective Relational Model (website /NARM) - Anti G3nocide here & abroad. - Quarterly newsletter announces openings, offerings, & trans-focused liberation (website /newsletter) Note: I also offer non-clinical & professional services for those in any location including virtual community spaces, workshops, coaching, consultation, training, and supervision.

Reaching out to a therapist requires courage and readiness for wanting to make changes. Perhaps you are feeling trapped in your mind, maybe a tough circumstance forces you to face what is not working anymore in your life, or an inner pain becomes so loud that you can no longer ignore it. In my work, I strive to help you discover yourself, and look at patterns and habits that no longer serve you. My hope is to guide you to break free from what is holding you back to become who you truly are. My sessions are collaborative. I work with warmth and compassion and will attentively listen and share my thoughts. I specialize in understanding complex issues such as depression, anxiety and relationship problems. My approach is cognitive and strength based. I truly believe in the strength and resiliency to create meaning and direction in our lives. If you think I can help you, please email or call me and we will have a conversation to see if you are comfortable working with me. It would be an honor to help you in your healing process.

Immediate openings! You might look “high-functioning” on the outside but inside you feel exhausted, anxious, or stuck in the same patterns. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, understand what's driving this, and feel some relief. Having difficulty navigating family or relationship issues? Dealing with work stress/burnout? Are you a clinician or healthcare worker managing vicarious trauma? Having difficulty as a parent to teens/young adults? Trying to understand a late life diagnosis of ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergence? Reach out for a free consult and let's talk. I have an extensive background in cognitive behavioral therapy and have over fifteen years of experience working with individuals to help them achieve sustainable change in their lives. People make the decision to engage in therapy for a multitude of reasons, all of which are valid. Some people may be ambivalent about making changes in their lives, while others might feel eager and ready to start the process. Regardless of where you find yourself on that continuum, I am here to support you. Although my background has mainly been focused around eating and body image, I see clients who are experiencing a variety of concerns: relationship issues, anxiety/depression, life transitions, unhappiness, etc. Prior to private practice, I worked with undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard University Counseling and Mental Health Service, with a specialty in supporting student-athletes and individuals with eating and body image concerns. I have also worked in psychiatric inpatient programs as well as eating disorder treatment programs. My therapeutic style is integrative, which means that our work together will draw on various approaches determined by your concerns and goals. My hope is for us to build a trusting relationship that will allow for honest reflection, helpful challenge, and ultimately positive change so that you may be able to lead a more fulfilling life.

Sometimes the ways we learned to survive are the very things now keeping us stuck. If you’ve found yourself overthinking, constantly on edge, emotionally shut down, stuck in painful relationship patterns, or feeling like you’re carrying experiences your body never fully got to process, you are not alone! Therapy to me is not about judgment, fixing you, or forcing quick answers. It is about creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and understood while we begin making sense of what your mind and body have been holding. I offer trauma-informed, relational therapy grounded in evidence-based practice & deep compassion. Integrating ACT, IFS, and somatic approaches, I help adolescents and adults navigate complex trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, women's issues, identity exploration, and family transitions, including divorce and high conflict dynamics. As an MSW clinician with a background in psychology, criminal justice, trauma-informed advocacy, and mental health research, I bring clinical training and genuine humanity to my work. Healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about understanding yourself with more clarity, compassion, and safety so you can live with greater freedom and connection!

I am the former psychotherapist at Harvard University, dedicated to Harvard Law School. After leaving, during the early pandemic, I appreciated the effectiveness of remote therapy and the convenience for my clients in the academic field – whether students or faculty. I have a fully remote practice and welcome your contacting me for a brief conversation so that we can see if it might be a good fit to work together. I have a lot of experience helping students in the fields of not only law, but also medicine, business, education, STEM and divinity, cope with the challenges of building their careers and professional vision in the context of both personal and professional challenges. I am also the former founder and director (for 20 years) of an adoption agency. I have a keen appreciation for the interests and challenges of members of the adoption triad. In over 30 years of clinical work, one of the key lessons I’ve learned is how important it is for clients to feel heard. Whether navigating challenging personal, academic or professional dilemmas, feeling understood is the first step in clients beginning to contemplate their available choices. I draw from a wide clinical knowledge base and broad training (family systems, CBT and other modalities) to help clients achieve their goals. Along the way, my hope is that clients feel increased personal power, greater confidence and ease as well as expanded capacity to connect with others.. I work remotely through video-conferencing, using a HIPAA compliant platform. Please feel free to email me to request a brief initial conversation so that we might see if it feels like a good fit to work together toward achieving your goals.

You may appear confident on the outside, but internally struggle with self-doubt, anxiety, or fear of rejection. Many of my clients feel “too much” and not enough at the same time, which can show up as overgiving, withdrawing, or difficulty setting boundaries. I work with high-achieving individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and grief—often expressed through overthinking, emotional avoidance, or disconnection. These patterns are often rooted in early experiences, cultural pressures, or navigating marginalized identities, all of which can shape how we view ourselves and relate to others. Together, we work to build a more grounded sense of self, increase emotional awareness, and shift away from survival patterns like numbing, overcontrolling, or checking out. My goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and at ease in your life and relationships. I especially enjoy working with BIPOC clients, Asian Americans, first-generation individuals, and those exploring identity and belonging. I offer a free, no-pressure consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
