In my practice, I specialize in working with adults who often find themselves caught in recurring patterns in life. This could manifest as challenges with self-esteem, self-doubt, confidence, or a loss of identity. Through the therapeutic relationship, the aim is to deepen your understanding of yourself. Change can be a formidable task, and while gaining insight into your challenges is a significant step, fostering actual change and improving your relationship with yourself and others can present a different set of difficulties.

Hi, I’m Dan—the founder and owner of Clarity Counseling Services, LLC. College can be exciting, but it can also feel like a lot—especially when you’re expected to juggle academics, relationships, identity, family pressures, and your future. Maybe you look like you're holding it together, but inside you're overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to keep going. Maybe you’re trying to make sense of a tough experience, struggling to manage expectations, or just feeling... off. You want to feel better—but you also want to understand yourself more deeply and figure out how you got here. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on and build a path forward. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you don’t have to filter your words or mask your feelings. I specialize in helping college students navigate stress, anxiety, identity shifts, relationships, and big life transitions. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, and I’ll meet you wherever you are—with curiosity, calm, and without judgment. I use an integrative, strengths-based approach tailored to your needs, drawing from nearly 20 years of clinical experience. We'll work together to unpack what’s weighing you down, improve your self-understanding, and build tools that help you feel more grounded, balanced, and capable—both now and in the future. It’s time to find more peace, clarity, and meaning—not just in school, but in all parts of your life. Let’s work together to get you there. **A Note About Insurance: I’m an insurance-friendly provider. While I don’t bill insurance directly, many students with PPO or POS plans successfully use their out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed. I provide detailed Superbills and can guide you through the process step by step. I also offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to help you get a feel for how I work and see if we’re a good fit. If you have any questions about fees or insurance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help.**

Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions. Starting therapy can seem scary, but its brave to get some help! Make the decision to feel better today. I am an Out of Network insurance provider-contact your insurance to see if you qualify for these benefits. Flexible spending and HSA accepted as payment. I'm passionate about working with college students, especially international students, students of color, and first-generation students. These students are often interested in exploring their identities and navigating life transitions. They may also be looking for support with academic stress and how to live according to their values. I have previous experience working in a college counseling setting, and I'm eager to connect with students who are seeking support. I am psychodynamically trained and have focused much of my learning and clinical practice within a social justice framework. Before moving to the US, I lived and studied in China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Therefore, both Eastern and Western philosophies and values influence and inform my perspectives and the integrative approaches that I bring to my work.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts, and Vermont with over 20 years of experience, helping adults and teens (16+) find greater balance, connection in their lives. My work focuses on supporting those managing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or self-esteem challenges. I approach therapy through a mind-body lens, integrating polyvagal informed therapy, EMDR, Internal family systems, mindfulness-based practices, CBT, and trauma informed care. These approaches honor the wisdom of your body and help you understand how your nervous system responds to stress together will work to build regulation, resilience, and a deeper sense of safety from within. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and compassionate. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and gently shift patterns that no longer serve you. Healing is a gradual process, and it begins with learning to listen-really listen- to your body and inner experience. If this approach resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect and see how we can begin this work together.

I work with Students at all leveles and my approach is both flexible and eclectic. I often use Brief Intermittent Therapy. I find that it works best for people to come in for a defined brief period of time (such as 6-8 weeks) and focus on one specific area that needs attention; the time in therapy is more concentrated and effective. When the need arises, I welcome clients back for a "tune up." My clinical work with students and families began in the early 1990’s. Much of my career has centered on helping kids in school settings. I also work with teachers and staff. I have successfully supported clients during times of crisis, transition, and struggle. I can help with anxiety, depression, peers, LGBTQ+ issues, and post-concussion support. I invite you to reach out and see if we would work well together. I am equally comfortable working via teletherapy or in-person therapy. My office is located in Harwich Center on Cape Cod. I'm happy to discuss what works best for you. Call or email Bonnie Jackman to schedule a free 15 minute consultation My Practice at a Glance Bonnie Jackman, LICSW 11 Pleasant Lake Ave Harwich, MA 02645 774-408-6164

Her vast experience spans across multiple settings and states, with a significant emphasis on acute care, addressing the needs of people across different age groups and objectives. Beyond formal education, she constantly seeks out diverse resources to refine her expertise, ensuring her approach is both informed and empathetic.
