I approach my work from a relational and trauma-informed framework while drawing from a variety of treatment modalities. My aim is to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment that equips clients to achieve their individual goals ultimately enriching their lives. Jazmin Guy is a compassionate and grounded therapist who believes that you are the expert on your life. Her role is to walk alongside you—offering insight, encouragement, and reflection to help you reconnect with your truth and move toward healing. With a blended approach rooted in holistic practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and spiritual exploration, Jazmin works with individuals navigating major life transitions, unresolved childhood trauma, postpartum shifts, grief, and the often-overwhelming process of self-discovery. She also supports parents in redefining their identity and finding balance in their evolving roles. Her direct yet nurturing style helps clients get to the heart of their pain, making space for clarity, transformation, and growth. Clients often describe Jazmin as warm, intuitive, and refreshingly honest. Her welcoming energy makes it easier to be vulnerable, and her dependability provides a safe container for meaningful change. “I’ve always been deeply curious about what shapes us—the experiences, beliefs, and stories we carry. Therapy is a place to unpack those pieces and build a new, empowered narrative.” Jazmin’s mission is simple: to hold space, reflect truth, and support you in creating realistic expectations—for yourself, your relationships, and your healing journey.

I am a cognitive-behaviorally trained clinical and neuropsychologist. I obtained my PhD from the University of Connecticut and did clinical psychology re-tooling at Western Michigan University. I work with diverse populations and tend to take a biological/behavioral approach to wellness and mental health. I have a history of working in the college setting as a therapist for a period of approximately seven years and thus I am familiar with the needs and special circumstances of the college-aged population.
Navigating adult living can be challenging on many levels. You want to remain independent, all while noticing no one really prepared you for how isolating and overwhelming that can be. You value depth in relationships and you're thinking long term into your future, but you're not sure what path to walk. I've been providing therapy to teens and adults for 14 years, navigating this life along side you. I utilize discussion on how our thoughts and emotions are interconnected with our life choices and actions, all while encouraging you to tune into what your body is telling you, and directing you back to listening to what is truly best for you.
You may have been holding things together okay, but lately it's been harder. It may be harder to sleep, do the things you want to do, or maybe you don't want to do anything at all. It's been too overwhelming and you don't know how to move forward. Emotions can take control sometimes. Other times we have difficulty engaging with them. I work with clients who want to learn how to navigate their emotions and process events that don't make sense. I help my clients engage with their emotions safely and confidently. I provide a Christian emphasis if desired. You don't have to keep doing this alone. I can help you process your emotions so you experience the freedom you're looking for. We will go at your pace.

Starting college — or just trying to get through it — can bring up a lot: Am I doing this right? Do I even belong here? Who am I becoming? I’d love to help you figure it out. Together we can work through the stress of adjusting to a new place, academic and social anxiety, career uncertainty, drinking or eating patterns that feel hard to shake, or trauma that’s still asking to be understood. I especially enjoy working with students nearing graduation who are wrestling with what comes next — career direction, next steps, and the identity shift that comes with leaving college behind. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a professor, and my research focused on identity and belonging — so I have a real passion for working with students exploring who they are, especially those navigating race, class, gender, or sexuality, or who just feel like they’re on the outside looking in. I bring both that academic background and genuine warmth to our work together.
Adolescence and young adulthood are times of great potential filled with major developmental tasks. At times those tasks can feel overwhelming. I'm Mindy and I am passionate about offering hope and unconditional positive regard to support those working through the time of life from pre-teen through young adulthood. A safe and supportive environment, recognizing patterns that no longer serve the client, and an increased self-awareness can help clients to grow into their full potential.

Hello! My name is Erin. I specialize in working with clients with a variety of concerns including PTSD, sexual traumas, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, LGBTQIA concerns, women's issues, divorce, relationship concerns, neurodivergent and more. Therapy works best when my client is motivated for some kind of change, even if they may not know what that looks like. My role is to support them in their journey to find their path. Please note that in accordance to Michigan Law, I participate in monthly supervision meetings with a Ph.D Psychologist, Dr. Julie Davis. I use a combination of CBT, positive psychology, motivational interviewing and more to meet a client where they are. My approach is direct for those who prefer, and softer for those who need a lighter approach. I use humor with my clients and find the absurdities and ironies in life. I am also able to go to the dark places with my clients. I know what it’s like to feel lost and uncertain. I know what it’s like to experience hopelessness and feel a desire to live a more meaningful life. These are just a few of the reasons I became a therapist. Participating in my own therapy from a young age helped me understand I wanted to others navigate these difficult feelings for a more fulfilling life.
