At different times in our lives, we may find ourselves challenged or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, our relationships, our careers, our health, or transitions. It is during these challenges, that a trusting relationship with a counselor can give the dynamic support, to sort through our thinking, feeling, and patterns of behavior. Through this mindful work we may begin to see ourselves and our options in a new way. This offers the opportunity to grow and regain balance in our lives creating new strategies for a balanced life and conscious relationships. My approach is based in Mindfulness techniques, Somatic work, Neurophysiology and Brainspotting work. At times I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and DBT theory and technique. As I believe the foundation of all counseling relationships is in unconditional positive regard and respect, my work is lead by my clients.
I offer a safe and consistent virtual space for adults of all ages to work through current stress, manage issues like anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and to resolve past trauma. My practice offers flexibility and the option to heal in an environment you can control, while my skills and experience allow me to foster a connection between us that is real and lasting. My clients often use the space to process their needs, to practice creating conscious connection between their minds and bodies, and to explore strategies that will offer them freedom and relief from traumatic stress. We'll have purposeful conversations that help build insight and clarity around your thoughts, feelings, and other internal experiences. Using virtual, trauma informed strategies based on current neuroscience such as EMDR, you can resolve past trauma, often leading to improvements in mood, energy levels, and ability to manage daily stress. Whether you're processing your experiences or learning new strategies, our sessions will take on a predictable, reliable flow that you can count on for help and support. I have experience supporting adolescents and young adults struggling with relationship challenges, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, emotion regulation, life transitions/adjustments, and adoption. It would be my privilege to come alongside you as you explore, identify, and work to resolve the root of your challenges, as you author new narratives for yourself and your experiences, and as you develop skills for relief and resilience. I work from an attachment and trauma-responsive lens. I am trained in Brainspotting and am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional. My approach is eclectic: I draw on skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapies, narrative therapy, and somatic therapy.
As a University of Oregon Graduate, I understand the challenges students can face. College can be presented as a fun experience where you meet new people and prepare for your future. While we all hope this is the case, sometimes life happens. The pressure of classes, grades, family, or personal challenges can get in the way of your experience. Having the right support system and tools to navigate life as a student is important, and I am here to help.
It’s only within the last few decades that research on ADHD and autism started including females! Girls/women/AFAB individuals have been overlooked, undiagnosed, or *mis*diagnosed and labeled as ‘moody’, ‘too emotional’, ‘spacey’, etc. One study found that around 46% of women were misdiagnosed with another disorder before being diagnosed with ADHD! I am passionate about helping adult women and AFAB individuals with ADHD and/or ASD learn new skills, gain confidence, and move away from shame. I strive to be authentic, compassionate, and respectful, and to foster a relationship where you feel genuinely seen and valued. My therapy style is influenced by the work of Brené Brown, who writes, "We are all made of strength and struggle." I am a cheerleader in the best sense of that word; I will encourage you to build on your strengths and support you through your struggles. I believe in the healing power of play and creativity, and infuse my work with humor and spontaneity. I love helping people identify and explore the various parts/roles/identities that make them unique beings. I don’t believe in ‘one size fits all' therapy and am trained in numerous modalities. We can work together to discover what approaches work best for you!
Any of us, from adults to very young children, can experience life challenges that require the caring support of other people. Sometimes we need help to navigate these challenges, and to heal, reorient, and move forward in our lives toward better health and wholeness. When the emotional support of friends and family is not enough, establishing a safe, collaborative relationship with a psychotherapist can be a valuable resource. I enjoy working with students who are ready to access support and guidance in order to address the social-emotional or mental health challenges that are holding them back; the changes and healing they are seeking in their relationships with parents, other family members, friends and/or partners; and clarification of needs, wants and life goals.
I specialize in trauma therapy, with extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual violence and other traumatic experiences. If you’ve been through something overwhelming, it can feel like a fog has settled over you, affecting every part of your life. You might find yourself overthinking, being on edge, shutting down, or feeling numb, even when you want to feel present and connected. Many people I work with feel stuck in this space and are unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll work to understand and process your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences so they no longer hold the same power over you. I use EMDR and other approaches to help you address what’s at the core of your symptoms. Feeling safe and understood is essential to this work. We’ll move at a pace that’s manageable for you, creating a space where you can show up as you are without pressure or judgment. While this is a vulnerable process, it’s also what allows for deep, lasting healing. Therapy can help you relate to yourself with more clarity and compassion, develop new patterns, and move toward the life you want to live. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, connected, and fully yourself—and to feel more in control of your life—I invite you to reach out. We’ll start with a conversation and see if working together feels like a good fit.

College can feel like a lot — like you’re trying to stay afloat in a fast-moving current. Some days you’re cruising; other days it’s all you can do to keep your head above water. Maybe you’re here because you’re tired of just getting by. Maybe you’re looking for a space to slow down, catch your breath, and figure out what’s next. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are - in the messy, real, complicated parts of being human. My approach is flexible and grounded in empathy, drawing from attachment work, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parts work, and EMDR. All aimed at helping you feel more connected to yourself and others.

I celebrate the strength of vulnerability, reclaiming power, and combating shame. Let’s celebrate you! I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and authentic therapeutic alliance with clients. In sessions we will create a sacred and healing space for you to bring and express all of you. In this space, I will be empathic, empowering, and genuine. A therapist with Willamette Valley Behavioral Health. Sometimes we receive messages in life that make us feel different and isolated. Counseling can be a path to restoring connection to self and others. I love to support children, adolescents, and emerging adults with neurodivergence, disabilities, and those part of the LGBTQIA+ community. My aim with clients is to develop sustainable ways to foster emotional capacity through play and creativity. When in session, this can provide a centering activity where people can open up in a natural way, creating an avenue for genuine connection. I readily honor and incorporate the nuances of people’s cultural and spiritual perspectives. Willamette Valley Behavioral Health offers sliding scale and self-pay in addition to accepting many insurances.
On paper, everything looks good. Underneath though, you're feeling unsettled and struggling. The people I work with typically look like they are doing well in school and in life, but are struggling to manage their feelings and feel settled in their bodies and mind. I help those struggling with anxiety and depression who are not sure why they feel the way they do. I help people find beneficial coping skills instead of relying on possibly harmful ones. Being a student and navigating the landscape, both locally and globally can feel very overwhelming. I help people break things down into manageable pieces in order to restore a sense of agency and confidence. If you have any questions or need some support, feel free to message me. I return inquiries within 24 hours during the week and on Monday if sent over the weekend.
