My name is Dr. Aedamar Grant and I have practiced psychology in both inpatient facilities, counseling centers and in a private practice setting for over 20 years. I work with patients across the life span and with a broad of psychological problems and I particularly enjoy working with college age students and helping them to negotiate the transitions to college life.I also have training and expertise in working with patients with eating disorders. I work with patients in a longer term frame and focus on developing a good patient-therapist working relationship to create a therapeutic space so the the person can develop an understanding of the meaning of their difficulties and begin to find pathways to alleviate those difficulties. I am very receptive to working with students with diverse sexual, cultural and religious backgrounds and am open to learning more about those backgrounds from individual patients. Please feel free to call if you feel I might be of use to you in resolving your difficulties.
I offer a collaborative and supportive space where you can explore your experiences with openness and honesty. Whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety, or you want a change of perspective in your life, I aim to make you feel understood. My style is warm, grounded, and attuned. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful change.
Anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship problems, and burnout can be very overwhelming and make you feel alone and exhausted. My clients often come to therapy looking for relief from the emotional and physical effects of these stressors that impact their relationships and well being. In therapy, together we can work to strengthen your coping skills, set and maintain healthy boundaries, gain insight and alter patterns that are no longer working for you, build more satisfying relationships, and improve your confidence and trust in yourself. My approach to therapy is relational, as I will provide a nonjudgmental, warm, and compassionate space for us to work together. I will try to help you feel as comfortable as possible when talking about parts of your life that may be difficult or painful. I look forward to supporting you through your unique challenges to help you find healing and peace.
At CenteredMind Online, I specialize in working with students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained, and are ready to feel more balanced and in control of their lives. Many of the clients I work with are juggling academic pressures, relationships, and personal expectations, often while hiding how stressed or stuck they feel. On the outside, they may seem high-functioning, but internally they’re quietly struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or sleep issues. If you’ve been finding it harder to focus, stay motivated, or feel rested, no matter how hard you try, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. That’s where I come in. I provide a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood, and your mental health is finally a priority. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, or simply feeling unmotivated or disconnected, we’ll work together to find a clear path forward. My approach is compassionate, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, and more like yourself again. I offer both medication management and supportive therapy, tailored to your individual needs. Together, we’ll look at what’s getting in your way and build a plan to help you move forward with solutions to help you feel more balanced and centered. CenteredMind Online is a fully virtual psychiatric practice, so you can meet with me from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to make care more accessible. No commuting. No waiting rooms. Just real support when you need it most. Creating change can be an uncomfortable process, and it can help to have someone accompany you on your journey to a more authentic life. I work best with adults who are ready to engage in the sometimes challenging but deeply rewarding process of personal growth and healing. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic health conditions, or co-occurring disorders, and are seeking meaningful change in their lives. I also have a strong understanding of the unique pressures faced by healthcare professionals and experience providing care for those involved with the Pennsylvania Nurse Peer Assistance Program (PNAP). I specialize in treating dual diagnosis and and I have specific experience working with substance use/chemical addictions and chronic health conditions. CBT and ACT are my primary modalities, however they are not the only interventions I use. Whatever interventions are used, the ideal outcome is to create sustainable, healthy change for individuals. I especially value working with individuals who are open to exploring their experiences, who may feel stuck but are willing to reflect, grow, and lean into their strengths. If you're looking for a grounded, compassionate, and collaborative space to sort through life’s complexities, we may be a good fit.

I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and in diverse settings, including in clients homes and inpatient facilities. I use these past experiences to meet my clients where they are, understand their unique perspective, and form a meaningful relationship with them in which they feel heard and understood. My primary treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, MI, and narrative therapy. Meaning, I use practices science has shown to be effective, to help clients harness their motivation to change their thoughts and behaviors, improve their relationship skills, and reach their goals. Are you feeling anxious, depressed, perhaps overwhelmed or having trouble managing life stressors? Has something happened to you past or present that was unexpected, scary, upsetting and often a source of distress and now you feel ready to work through it? Are you struggling with navigating changes or life transitions and could use somebody to talk to? No matter what is going on, it is generally helpful to talk with an unbiased person who can help you make sense of what’s going on and learn how to manage stress so that you can function more effectively and of course feel better! I have nearly 20 years experience working as a therapist, with the past eleven years working specifically in college counseling centers at both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maine. If you need support, please feel free to contact me and we can schedule a brief phone consultation to discuss what you are hoping to work on and also give you a chance to ask any questions you may have, together we can determine if we are a good fit.
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and a queer and non-binary person who uses they/them pronouns. I am also half-Taiwanese and half-White, neurodiverse and chronically ill. I love working with clients who don’t fit neatly into society’s pre-determined “boxes,” and are seeking to experience more enjoyment, fulfillment, and authenticity in their own lives – especially in terms of expressing themselves fully. This may involve experiences of gender, sexuality or perhaps a life transition such as career change, I’m open to all of it. Ultimately, I am curious about learning about people for who they are, and how they move through the world with whatever intersections of identity they may possess. My approach is grounded in anti-oppression and social justice principles and centered around the foundation of a genuine and compassionate therapeutic relationship with each and every client. I am here for the open acknowledgment of all that you have experienced, and all that you are, by providing plenty of space for both curiosity and reflection. In our work together, I will prioritize your autonomy, trusting you as the expert for you. Through a collaborative, non-judgmental, “as structured as you want it” approach, I am here to show up for you - to support you through your walk through life – however that may look like for you. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and take a Strength-Based and Culturally Sensitive approach. I utilize Psychodynamic therapy and techniques and skills taken from other modalities as needed, as they apply to the work you would like to do in therapy.

Hi, I'm Deepali! I help people reconnect with themselves. I especially enjoy working with people navigating grief in all its forms - the loss of a an old identity, a version of life you thought you'd have, or heartbreak. I do existential work with my clients: making room for the bigger questions about who you are and what your life actually means, while also bringing in practical, CBT-based tools you can use right away to make daily life a little easier. I also specialize in disordered eating through a weight-inclusive, Health At Every Size lens. I find a quick connection with people who are ready to get curious about their own patterns, rather than just manage symptoms. I use a warm, direct approach and bring humor, curiosity, and sometimes art, music, or reading into sessions, since healing doesn't only happen through talking. I'd be honored to help you find your way back to yourself.
Over the last 13 years of being a therapist I’ve had the privilege to meet and treat so many people, each of whom was on their own journey to better mental health and now my own career journey has led me here. I started Caim Counseling as a place for people to address their mental health so that they can be empowered to heal. I believe strongly in meeting people where they’re at and tailoring mental health care treatment to what each individual needs. I have an eclectic approach which leans towards Person-Centered therapy and have done additional work in areas like women’s issues, eating disorders, anxiety, grief, and LGBTQIA+ specific concerns. I believe strongly in the equality of all people and am committed to having an inclusive practice. I can’t wait to meet you and see how we can work together to get you to a place of better mental health.
