I work with individuals who are seeking support with living a richer, less restricted life navigating anxiety, difficult transitions, complex trauma, and challenges with relationships. The process of turning inward in therapy - to interrogate how your present is being colored by the past and bringing understanding to patterns of relating to yourself and others can be incredibly transformative and life changing.

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety? Stuck in OCD rituals? Struggling to balance school, relationships, family expectations, and everything else that comes with being a young adult? Maybe you’re navigating a difficult transition, questioning who you are, or feeling like you’re supposed to have everything figured out. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with college students and young adults navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, relationship and friendship struggles, family conflict, self-esteem, and life transitions. College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring pressure, uncertainty, and challenges that are difficult to manage on your own. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to what actually works for them. Together, we will focus on understanding your emotions, managing anxiety and overwhelming thoughts, building confidence, strengthening relationships, and developing coping skills that you can carry with you beyond college. Therapy can also be a space to explore your values, identity, boundaries, and the kind of life you want to create for yourself. To guide my work, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I also use Brainspotting to support clients in processing trauma and experiences that may feel difficult to access through traditional talk therapy alone. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whatever you’re carrying, my goal is to help you build a life that feels steady, fulfilling, and fully yours.

At Truth Center for Health and Healing we've learned the importance of the connection with ourselves and the relationships around us. Often times, feelings of depression, anxiety, and difficulties within relationships are triggered from previous experiences/ traumas that cause us to be “stuck” in unhealthy patterns of living. We believe in connecting with each client through exploring their current living patterns that have them in unhealthy relationships, making poor decisions and/or struggling to maintain daily living. We work collaboratively with clients to empower them to create new patterns in their relationships and in life to get “unstuck”. We believe once you have been able to explore your past relationships/traumas, you will be able to begin healing from past hurts, connect more with your authentic self and feel empowered to work towards improving your current and future relationships.

You are the expert on you, and you already possess all the tools necessary to heal and achieve your goals! Life experiences however can cause those tools or skills to become buried. In a safe and supportive therapeutic environment my role is to help uncover your “toolbox”, remove the broken or ineffective tools, sharpen the dull ones, and add a few new shiny ones. To embark on this counseling journey several critical therapeutic ingredients are needed: safety, empathy, and trust (SET). You'll lead and I'll closely follow, serving as a skillfully trained second pair of eyes and ears.

Navigating the complexities of being human can be as rewarding as it is complicated. Our journeys are filled with moments that require us to muster resilience, practice self-compassion, and foster hope—even when the path seems unclear. At K & K Holistic Counseling, we are dedicated to guiding you through these challenges, helping you cultivate a life of significance and joy. Our mission is to offer a therapeutic environment that is both welcoming and collaborative, focusing on the individual as a whole rather than a constellation of symptoms. I believe that at some point in life, everybody needs somebody. None of us are immune to hardship and distress. Really, it is not a matter of "if" but "when." Even though there are natural ebbs and flows, sometimes we need for someone to hear us, hold our pain, validate our experience and model a new way of coping with patterns of thinking and behavior that keep us stuck. For that reason, my passion is to aide in a client’s journey towards self-fulfillment. Through my clinical work, I am committed to supporting and empowering clients in times of distress through warmth, compassion, and challenging them to discover their true selves. I use a variety of systems that takes an integrative approach to help clients develop strategies for generalized anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic, phobias, separation anxiety, PANS/PANDAS, tics, hair pulling, skin picking, and trauma. Additionally, I have experience working with selective mutism, survivors of violent and non-violent crimes, and first responder’s mental health.
