Welcome to your healing journey! Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who currently serves adults throughout the state of Texas. I have a profound passion for mental health and strive to create a safe, therapeutic space where your unique story is valued. Whether you are seeking support for concerns related to work stress, relationships in your life, life transitions, need support managing your emotions, or need assistance processing a troubling event, I am here for you. During sessions I use a variety of trauma informed approaches to therapy, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR aims to help make tough memories less distressing, while promoting healing from difficult experiences. Through personalized strategies, I am dedicated to empowering my clients to explore patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that can lead to a more fulfilled life. I am also a therapist who utilizes holistic approaches, so I incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and somatic practices into our sessions. Some sessions will be tougher than others, but you are the expert of your own healing. In our first session, you take the lead in defining the path forward. We will explore the pressing issue that brought you to seek support and will create a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to the goals and changes that you are looking for. I do require a 15-minute consultation call before the first session is scheduled.
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of CT and TX and a licensed mental health counselor in the state of NY. I graduated from Marist College in 2009 with a MA in mental health counseling. I have over 15 years of experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions. I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment in which you can process anything past or present that is impacting your life and together we will work on ways to help navigate those issues in a way that makes life feel more manageable. I believe in a collaborative approach and tailor therapy to the individual. I am trauma informed. I use CBT and mindfulness but pull from different modalities depending on your needs. I use a collaborative approach and together we will work on approaching therapy in a way that is comfortable for the individual. I have experience working with all ages, individuals, and couples. I am currently taking new clients and accept some insurance plans. Feel free to reach out by email with any questions, for availability, or to schedule an appointment.

At Roots & Refuge Center, we provide mental health services and healing spaces that support people through community care and cultural understanding. We offer soul-centered therapy for those who are displaced, seeking spiritual growth, or showing great resilience. Angelique uses a blend of ACT, somatic-based approaches, Emotionally Centered CBT (ECBT), DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. These modalities help build emotional resilience, navigate life transitions, and repair relational systems, all through a trauma-informed and culturally grounded lens. Welcome! I work with people who may be struggling with a variety of different challenges from grieving the loss of a pet, struggling with thoughts of the future in a world that seems to be falling apart, and people struggling with gender identity and sexual orientation. I offer an LGBTQ and neurodivergent-affirming environment. While I pull from gold standard techniques such as EMDR, Brainspotting, ACT, DBT, and CBT-I to address a variety of issues and symptoms, I take a collaborative approach to tailor our work together to best fit your needs. I have over ten years of experience in the mental health field both as a researcher and as a psychotherapist. The first five years of my career was spent at the Montrose Center in Houston, Texas where I worked with the LGBTQ community as a psychotherapist and a case manager. This valuable experience urged me to take my career further by going into private practice where I am honored to work with members of the LGBTQ community as well as those outside it.
Hi there! College can be exciting, messy, overwhelming, and everything in between—and you don’t have to figure it all out alone. My practice is a space where you can show up as your full self—no code-switching, no shrinking, no pretending. I center students who’ve felt “othered,” whether that’s because of race, gender identity, sexuality, or just not fitting into the mold of what college “should” look like. As a queer, Black provider, I understand how hard it can be to find support that gets it, so I bring compassion, honesty, and a real understanding of the unique challenges BIPOC and LGBTQ+ students face. Whether you’re navigating identity, relationships, stress, or just trying to make it through the semester, I’m here to hold space for all of it. Therapy with me is collaborative, validating, and never one-size-fits-all—because you deserve care that sees you. You belong here.

Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
Hi, I’m Dr. Beverly Benoit, and I’m dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and break cycles of generational trauma. With experience supporting individuals from age 4 through adulthood, I offer a trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive space where young clients can explore their emotions, strengthen their sense of self, and thrive. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the understanding that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and intergenerational trauma shape both the emotional and relational landscapes of our lives. Healing begins with attunement—whether that means helping a child make sense of big feelings, guiding a teen through identity and self-worth challenges, or supporting families in rebuilding trust and emotional safety. In addition to child and adolescent therapy, I offer family therapy and marriage counseling. I view the health of the family system as foundational to a child's well-being, and I help caregivers and couples improve communication, navigate transitions, and create secure attachments. As a clinician certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), I tailor evidence-based interventions to each client’s developmental stage and emotional needs. I also incorporate insights from my doctoral research, including the development of Socio-Motivational Systems Theory, a framework designed to address the specific needs of children experiencing racialized trauma by integrating trauma-informed care with motivational and systemic strategies. At Kinder Mind, I strive to meet every client exactly where they are—with empathy, creativity, and cultural humility—empowering them to grow into confident, emotionally healthy individuals. Areas of Expertise: Child Therapy (Ages 4–18) Trauma and PTSD Family Therapy and Parenting Support Marriage Counseling Emotional Regulation, Anxiety, and Depression Grief, Bereavement, and Hospice Family Support Behavioral Issues in Children and Teens I’d be honored to support your family on its path toward healing and connection. We’ll build the skills and strategies needed for a healthier, more empowered future. Now accepting clients in Texas, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
“We don’t have to do all of it alone, we were never meant to.” -Brene Brown Currently accepting new clients for virtual/Telehealth counseling services and hypnotherapy. My 10+ years of practicing has become enriched with opportunities to work with an array of presenting issues and populations, all of which have deeply impacted, influenced, and enhanced my fulfillment and devotion to the mental health field. I maintain and promote an inclusive mindset, welcoming all human beings to share in a safe space, in order to knock down barriers, and move toward a healthier and more desirable quality of life. While the majority of the clients on my caseload suffer from the lasting effects of trauma/PTSD, a growing pattern, stemming from anxiety, depression, and relational/attachment issues has become a close second.
My practice exists to help high-achieving people cope with stress, anxiety and depression so they can feel better and live the life they want.

Hi, I'm Michelle Gorden, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am currently training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Gottman Method for couples. I specialize in treating mood disorders, trauma, and PTSD. My background is diverse and supports my ability to help my clients reach their highest potential. I have worked in criminal justice, crisis stabilization, case management, and residential treatment. I am skilled in facilitating psycho-educational groups and providing intensive outpatient therapy. I strive to work collaboratively with each client in a non-judgmental space to improve overall happiness and well-being. Counseling can help you with many stressors in life such as anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, family conflict, and self-exploration. Counseling provides a safe place to take risks, be vulnerable, gain support, and become empowered to change your life. I have a laid-back style and focus on creating a safe space. My approach is pretty eclectic and my philosophy is that therapy can’t be one-size-fits-all. Treatments should be customized to each individual client, couple, or family.
