My name is Carissa Weber. I am an outdoor enthusiast dedicated to helping others return to enjoying their own lives. As a therapist, I use a blend of treatment modalities, neuroscience, and sarcasm to help clients build on their strengths to rediscover who they are. When we work together, you will have a safe place to share your experience in a judgment-free zone. Rather than "jump to conclusions'' and make uncomfortable treatment recommendations to you after the first session, I will take time to get to know who you are, understand what you are facing, and help you explore ways to relieve your anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. I’ve worked to create the kind of non-judgmental therapy space where I’d want to find myself as a client—where one can ugly cry & make dark-humored jokes within the same session.

Over the past eight years I have worked in the mental health field in a variety of capacities, including inpatient units, residential facilities, and day treatment settings. My experience and training with children, adults, and families in these settings has given me a practical knowledge and understanding when working alongside my clients to facilitate change. A significant part of my experience has been working with adults and children coping with past trauma to safely express their anger, manage their depression, and navigate difficult life events. I strive to meet my clients and their families in the circumstances that they are in and make a collaborative effort to overcome the challenges they face. Each client's history, perspective, and relationships are different which is why I believe each therapeutic approach should be unique to the client. In addition to outpatient therapy, I work part time with the social services department at Rogers Behavioral Health. Forming relationships with clients and being witness to their progress and resiliency is something that has been rewarding. Outside of work I enjoy playing ultimate Frisbee, hiking, reading, and swimming.
Karmen Seltz is a psychotherapist who believes that the therapeutic relationship can build the foundation to make change. Therapy can help you make complicated decisions simpler and reinforce your successes. Often, it is a matter of helping you unlock the solution that is waiting inside you. Many successful people struggle with doing everything “perfectly,” and it can be exhausting. Therapy offers an opportunity to build self-care habits and learn new ways to cope, and taking this time for yourself will have a positive effect on your relationships as well. Karmen works with adults, couples, and families who are struggling with mood disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders. I have years of experience helping people make changes in their lives. I look forward to working together.
With 15 years of experience in the mental health field, my area of expertise is working with individuals struggling with anxiety, panic, OCD, body-focused behaviors like hair pulling/skin picking, eating disorders, ARFID, depression, and life transitions. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore challenges and build resilience. My approach is collaborative—together, we set meaningful goals, break them into manageable steps, and develop skills and tools for lasting change. I utilize evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training, Behavioral Activation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strength-based approaches. Whether you're struggling with overwhelming thoughts, navigating a major life change, or seeking tools to improve family or relationship dynamics, I'm here to support you through the journey. If you've ever felt misunderstood, struggled with recognizing your worth, grappled with questions about your identity, or faced challenges in relationships, we're here to listen to you. If you find yourself weighed down by deep-seated emotional experiences, memories that are confusing, unclear, conflicted, or downright painful, we can help you. We understand the importance of processing and unpacking trauma. Sometimes you need to explore the deepest and darkest aspects of your experiences in order to find the inner strength that will push you forward. These moments can produce actual healing and growth which occurs most often in a safe therapeutic relationship with a therapist who listens carefully and responds with genuine acceptance and empathic understanding. Our approach centers on you, providing a nurturing environment where you can delve not only into topics like self-image, self-esteem, sexual and gender identity, and relationship difficulties, but also into those complex emotions and memories that might be lurking beneath the surface. Those who find our approach most beneficial often seek a space where they're free to be themselves without fear of judgment, a place to sift through their emotional landscapes with care and attention. If you're looking for a therapeutic experience where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore your emotions, memories, and challenges at your own pace, then our client-centered approach might just be the right fit for you. Our psychologists offer individual, family, relationship and sex therapy that is affirming and sensitive to all aspects of diversity. We also offer affordable neuropsychological assessment and evaluations for attention, memory, learning, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism. If you are uninsured or paying out of pocket, please ask us about sliding scale fee options for students so we can accommodate your needs.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. For me, being a physician is more than a profession—it is a vocation to help indviduals flourish. My practice is devoted to students and young adults seeking thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care that extends beyond symptom relief. I provide comprehensive evaluations that consider medical, nutritional, lifestyle, and psychological factors—including laboratory testing when clinically appropriate—to identify the contributors to emotional and cognitive health. I also specialize in evidence-based de-prescribing for patients who wish to reduce or discontinue psychiatric medications for anxiety, attention difficulties, or substance use disorders. My approach is guided by precision, humility, and restraint: using the least intensive intervention necessary while drawing upon the full breadth of evidence-based medicine. Depending on each patient's needs and goals, I integrate psychotherapy, nutrition, lifestyle medicine, exercise, targeted supplementation, and, when appropriate, carefully selected medications into a personalized treatment plan. In addition to my clinical work, I have presented internationally on psychiatric deprescribing and medical ethics. My work has been recognized with awards from the American Psychiatric Association, the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions, the American Psychoanalytic Association, and other leading professional organizations. I am the Founder & Medical Director of Verigrate Health. I am licensed to serve patients in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Lousiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin.
