A licensed psychologist, I received both my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and my M.S. in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. When faced with difficult situations, we often feel discouraged. I believe that a safe, supportive environment is key to growth, and I offer plenty of encouragement. I help clients gain perspective through empathic exploration. We’re all doing the best we can in life, but sometimes we get in our own way. As much as I’m comfortable with deep emotions, I also believe in the importance of bringing laughter and humor into the room!

I am a registered dietitian that specializes in eating disorders and is very passionate about helping my clients find food freedom. I work with all individuals that struggle with an eating disorder or disordered eating. I'm grateful for your courage to seek help. I care deeply about helping people address their concerns while offering respect, safety and compassion. I view therapy as an opportunity to use your strengths and resources in order to increase your overall health and life satisfaction. We will collaborate to alleviate distressing experiences in the present and gain insight into where these difficulties originated. Throughout, I will meet you with integrity and culturally-responsive care. My areas of expertise include trauma, relationship concerns, men's issues, and grief/loss. I also draw on my generalist training in order to work with individuals experiencing mood-related concerns such as depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as to help with identity development. I am honored to do this work and witness courageous individuals strive toward change and growth. I work with undergraduate and graduate students who are struggling with a variety of mental health, substance use, and existential problems. My patients are often looking to reduce their suffering and increase their sense of meaning and purpose in life. I especially enjoy working with people who are interested in a deeper self-understanding and working together to uncover the feelings, narratives, conflicts, and motivations that may be ruling their lives but outside of their awareness. My first priority when working with new patients is to establish trust and help create a relationship that is safe and honest. Within the context of this secure relationship, my patients are able to better understand their self-limiting or self-defeating patterns, mourn life's losses, and establish or reestablish a life that is organized around the values that matter most to them. My hope is that my patients will develop a reliable self-esteem, improve their ability to be in relationship with self and others, and live life with less reactivity and more flexibility. I received an MSW degree from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work before gaining clinical experience in diverse settings all along the addiction medicine levels of care. I opened a private practice in 2023 and currently provide services to adolescents, adults, families, and organizations.

I am a Licensed Psychologist who offers individual therapy, as well as learning disorders, ADHD, personality and psychopathology testing. My training has primarily consisted of working with college students in counseling centers and private practice settings. I offer therapy and have experience addressing depression, self-esteem, grief, relationships, anxiety, and identity development. I also offer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for learning disorders and ADHD, as well as psychological evaluations to assess mood, personality, and relationship functioning. In psychotherapy and testing, I pride myself on taking a strengths-based approach; I believe that we all have undiscovered strengths that can be useful during challenging times. I welcome you to be all of who you are, while helping you explore all that you can be. You may be wondering if you are capable of taking this step, and the answer is YES! It may take you out of your comfort zone, but you are not alone once you step outside of it. Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s okay not to have all the answers. I offer a supportive space to explore your story and take steps toward meaningful change. I work with those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, perfectionist tendencies, and life transitions. I’m especially passionate about supporting current and former athletes as they rediscover identity beyond sport(s). Using an empowerment-based, CBT & DBT techniques, Adlerian, and family systems approach, I help clients build resilience, find clarity, and move forward with confidence. I help high achievers of all facets explore how they became who they are today, understand how their mindset & perfectionistic tendencies impact their daily life, & learn healthier ways to navigate pressure, performance expectations, and the world around them. Across all areas, I seek to help clients foster resilience and empowerment in their lives. Reaching out for support takes courage, and it’s normal to feel uncertain about where to begin. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood and supported. Together, we can work toward building resilience, discovering strengths, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Are you overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with your identity, or feeling stuck under the weight of the world? You’re not alone. Many of my clients navigate stress, self-doubt, overthinking, and pressures from relationships, work, or school. I am especially passionate about working with members of the queer community and neurodivergent individuals, and I strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the need to mask or hide parts of who you are. Whether it's self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling lost, you don’t have to manage it all on your own. I offer a supportive, affirming space where you can show up as your full, authentic self and explore what’s on your mind without judgment. Together, we’ll explore how your relationships, culture, identity, and life experiences shape your well-being, while working to ease anxiety, build self-esteem, and help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered. You deserve the kind of support and care that sees you, values you, and meets you where you are. I invite you to reach out if you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth. I look forward to connecting with you.
