Occasionally we all struggle to stay "on top" of things, or have a hard time keeping up with everything we need to do in a day. For some of us, it's a little more than that. It's constant scrolling through social media to give your brain a break, and that break turns into an hour. Or procrastinating simple tasks like finishing an assignment, or sending an email. Maybe you're having a hard time just waking up and getting out of bed in the morning. It's distressing to feel like you're struggling and not know how to fix it. If this sounds like you, just know: things can get better! Anxiety and depression don't have to rule your life. I'd love to work together with you on topics of general anxiety, self-confidence, identity issues, relationship issues, faith/religious questioning, perfectionism, and depression (and more!). As a CBT therapist, I help you identify areas of difficulty in your routine so we can build skills like self-awareness, coping mechanisms, and self-esteem. We are all learning how to do this thing called Life. And you can learn how to live happily and authentically! I aim to provide a calming space where we can slow down, and work together to better understand and accept the person that you are, and the person you want to be.

Our clinicians use different therapies and approaches to help our clients with depression, anxiety, relationships, life transitions, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and more. No matter where you are on your journey, we are here to help you. We all experience life differently, so we don’t subscribe to a one-size-fits-all approach. We offer a culture of connection that embraces and cares for people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, religions, ethnicities, education levels, and abilities. You deserve the kind of care that helps you feel confident about who you are and optimistic about where you’re headed.
I am a trauma-informed provider who specializes in supporting individuals and couples navigating conflict, depression, anxiety, infertility, chronic illness, grief/loss, trauma and transition. One of the bravest things we can do is begin to understand our own stories. Clients I support often grapple with the impact of narratives about who they were, are, or "should be", leaving them questioning, "Do I matter?" or shedding pieces of their identity to generate a sense of belonging. Together, we can explore societal and relational influences on your story, while identifying your values, strengths, options for healing and growth. I believe every client holds expertise in their own experiences and deserves the right to make decisions honoring personal journeys and values. My approach incorporates relational-cultural, feminist, and interpersonal lenses. I utilize the Gottman Method, CBT, DBT, IFS, and MSC strategies, also drawing from 12+ years of experience as a parent and educator. Everyone deserves to experience validation, compassion, and belonging. I am committed to facilitating a space in which you feel understood, valued, and supported as we prioritize your goals, explore your story, and incorporate strategies for reintegrating pieces of your Self so you also can experience increased personal acceptance and relational connection.

As a therapist, I specialize in working with current and former athletes, students, and high achievers who are navigating challenges with perfectionism, self-criticism, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, and identity. My practice is rooted in supporting girls and women strengthen their confidence and redefine their success. Whether you're navigating life during or after sport, facing academic or career pressure, or trying to rediscover who you are outside of achievement, therapy can be a powerful space to pause, reflect, and heal. Many of my clients are used to excelling. From the outside, they seem driven, focused, and capable. But internally, they may struggle with self-criticism, burnout, imposter syndrome, or a sense that they’re not “enough”, even when they’re exceeding expectations. I use evidence based strategies to help clients in creating a more empowered sense of self! My approach is collaborative, affirming, and non-judgemental. I’m a former collegiate athlete and current coach, so I have first-hand experience seeing and experiencing the impact on young women. I am also currently PhD Candidate researching depression, anxiety, and perfectionism seen in athletes.

I believe therapy can be a transformative experience, and it requires a lot of courage to take that first step toward healing. As a therapist, I use a warm, interpersonal approach, drawing from attachment theory, internal family systems (IFS), somatics, and DBT. I help clients find purpose and meaning in life, feel a sense of safety in their bodies, and understand their own behavioral and attachment patterns. I enjoy working with young adults struggling with a sense of self and identity, those with personality and mood disorders, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals questioning their sexuality and/or gender presentation. I can’t wait to accompany you on this journey.

Through our work together, I hope to help you foster more peace, purpose, joy, and balance in your life. Being human is hard and you do not need to face life alone. I am here for you. Are you afraid of making one mistake that ruins your whole life? Do you find yourself constantly tired and anxious? Unable to have fun no matter what you’re doing? Maybe you’re looking for a therapist who's a dungeon master and watches anime? Then I’m your person. I am passionate about providing affirming care to geeky queer, trans, and gender-expansive individuals (13 years and older), and I specialize in folks experiencing OCD/anxiety, identity exploration, and life transitions, although I love to work with clients on a large variety of concerns. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down and feel truly seen for every aspect of you. Together, we’ll build up your toolbox with skills so you can set boundaries with others and calm your compulsive thoughts. We’ll explore the habits you’ve been meaning to stop and create ways to manage your time better. One way I enjoy connecting with clients is through media, video games, and other current geeky events – also known as Geek Therapy, where we use fantasy and play to work through what brings you to counseling. Depending on your passions, this can look like utilizing games, creating Dungeons & Dragons character sheets, watching your favorite tv show together or even showing up to a session in cosplay! We can bring your interests into the room to make therapy less scary and more empowering. Counseling has been absolutely crucial to my own journey, while also opening my eyes to the lack of queer-affirming support that is out there. This inspired me to become a counselor who gives back to their own community, by creating brave and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ folx. I know how powerless and shameful it feels having to hide away parts of yourself to fit in with others and that is not necessary here. You can be yourself with me.
Starting therapy can be super difficult. On top of that, navigating college life can be lonely, overwhelming, and sometimes scary. My goal is to create a warm and comfortable environment for you to begin your counseling journey and for you to start working towards change, however you define that in your life.
College can be difficult and lonely. My goal as your therapist would be to help you explore yourself, your hurts, and your relationships to bring about healthier functioning in your life. I strive to create an environment where you feel supported and heard so that you can experience healing and growth. I want to be a person in your life that you feel safe with and cared for by. I use Emotionally-Focused therapy to aid you in processing through what you are struggling with so that you can achieve your goals and thrive while you are in college and beyond. Please contact me if you think that we would be a good fit! #APC010625, Georgia
I specialize in supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds as they navigate major life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem, assertive communication, and relationship building. My therapy services cater to individuals ranging from 7 years old to adulthood, providing individual, parent, and family therapy. Sessions with me are crafted to explore the underlying motivations behind behaviors, fostering a non-judgmental mindset, and aligning actions with goals of self-efficiency, regulation, mindfulness, and fulfillment. In group settings, I work with elementary, middle, and high schoolers, as well as young adults, to introduce coping skills, promote positive interactions, and address challenges related to executive function. I utilize art, play, and talk therapy techniques to empower clients to reach their full potential. I am particularly passionate about supporting parents in managing role balancing and enhancing family communication, empowering them to model healthy behaviors for their children. My aim is to create an environment that reduces stigma surrounding mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders, promoting open dialogue and understanding. I operate as an out-of-network provider. Individual sessions are priced between $120 and $175, depending on the appointment time. Sessions scheduled between 10 AM and 1 PM on Mondays through Thursdays are priced at $120, while appointments between 3 PM and 5 PM are $175. Our office provides superbills for potential insurance reimbursement.
Research shows that it is the relationship between the client and the therapist that is the most important factor for success. I work to build a collaborative relationship that is rich, trusting, and productive. I look to encourage curiosity toward our experiences, where thoughts and patterns can be put into words. My work with people often centers around feelings of anxiety, dissatisfaction with important relationships or career, confusing ways of behaving, and a lack of clarity about why we feel the way we do. Often there is the sense that previous ways of being and thinking in the world may not be working as well as they used to. I believe Psychotherapy is an art and a science. Thinking together, we often find a better understanding of ourselves and our behavior, with a new sense of freedom and flexibility toward life that can be more strategic and less reactive, showing us a way of being and relating to others that is more creative, effective, and ultimately more fulfilling.
