Are you feeling stuck in a cycle of stress, self-doubt, or struggling to manage life’s demands? I work with people who often feel like they’re being pulled in too many directions—students balancing academics, relationships, and personal growth, or individuals trying to break free from habits and patterns that no longer serve them. You might be navigating ADHD, perfectionism, or simply questioning your next steps. My approach is about meeting you where you are and helping you explore how your past experiences, relationships, and emotions connect to your present challenges. Together, we’ll work toward greater self-compassion, better habits, and a clearer sense of what makes life meaningful to you. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about where to start, let’s talk. I’m here to help you build a life that feels true to you.
Are you feeling disconnected, discontent, overwhelmed, or stuck? Let's work on it! In therapy, we'll break down limiting beliefs, connect to your true Self, and release shame and trauma weighing you down. Tuning into your values, desires, fears, and patterns can unlock a fulfilling, peaceful life. As a queer therapist with ADHD, I love working with neurodivergent and queer clients in their Quarter-life stage! Bring your authentic, human self to my judgment-free office. I have experience working with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, panic, depression, grief, body image, and couples (ENM inclusive). My priority as a therapist is to help you meet YOUR goals & create a space for you to embrace the REAL you. We'll build a toolkit of coping skills to ease pain in your daily life and dive deep to heal the parts of you that are suffering. I draw on IFS, ACT, and attachment-based therapy principles, among others. I'm honored that you're considering me as your therapist. I know personally and professionally that therapy is an avenue for liberation, and I would love to be part of your journey to freedom. You got this! Please reach out, I can't wait to hear from you!

College can bring on anxieties and insecurities that may have felt more manageable in high school. We help clients struggling with anxiety and/or depression that can come from finding your identity or the day to day stresses of college life. Our practice is a welcoming place where you can feel comfortable to be who you are.
If you are new to therapy or if you've met with a therapist before, I commend you for recognizing your need for supporting yourself right now. If you are experiencing problems related to drugs and alcohol, anxiety, depression, anger, or stress management, I feel confident that I can help you to deal with these issues effectively. I take a mindfulness-based approach in working with clients, which incorporates a main focus of learning to accept and be with whatever is happening in the present moment. This can help create clarity and present a reasonable solution to challenges. If you are interested in working with me, please reach out to me at anytime.
If you are LGBTQ+, polyamorous, kinky, or exploring your identity, it can be exhausting to live in a world that barely tolerates, much less affirms, every part of you. If you feel like you are drowning under the pressure of today’s demands, how are you supposed to find the energy to work on your goals, learn who you are, or take time to enjoy life? You may currently feel alone, unloved, or like you don’t deserve happiness. You might find yourself numb and in emotional pain, wishing people could see and understand your real self. You’re ready to get help, and you want a therapist that specializes in clients like you. I am a gay, transgender clinician dedicated to providing individual therapy to Georgia’s gender, sexuality, and relationship structure minority communities. I am passionate about my community and filling the gap in mental health care many of us experience. My services are also sex-positive, weight-inclusive, neurodiverse-friendly, and culturally-affirming. I offer both in-person and online sessions for your convenience and accessibility. Clients that work with me appreciate positive, gentle masculinity paired with the occasional dad joke. Check out my website for more information about me, or email me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, Gershom Lazarus draws from a background in physiology, neuropsychology, and clinical psychology to provide an integrated approach to assessment and treatment. He currently practices as a partner of IPD, an institute established over 40 years with offices in Georgia and Florida. Dr. Lazarus initially came to the United States as an international student and can relate to some of the seemingly unrelenting challenges facing students currently. The primary approach to providing care is rooted in developing an understanding of contributing factors at the physiological, neurological/neuropsychological, and psychological levels within the context of an individual’s behavioral and societal functioning. Each session aims to focus on understanding and psycho-education regarding the presenting issues, exercises for between sessions designed to practice strategies developed in-session, and ultimately “real-world” applications targeting areas of concern. While the initial focus tends to be managing the main areas of concern, the importance of growth and meaning are gradually introduced.

Everyone can benefit from therapy regardless of how big or small a problem feels: both sprained and broken ankles can benefit from crutches! Whether you have faced a life-altering event, or have worries about the future, I will guide and support you along the journey. Taking the first steps to begin therapy can be intimidating, but is an important move to make to become your best self. My approach balances the emotional processing necessary to generate insights with the practical components of skill building to truly give you all the benefits therapy can provide. I use a flexible integrative model to generate individualized treatment since no two people or problems are the same. I believe therapy is most effective when we collaborate to improve your quality of life. I'm excited to begin the process of achieving your personal goals! Currently supervised by Tara Towler-Cumby, MA, LPC, CPCS.
