I have been a practicing social worker for 5 years providing individual and couples therapy for adults with various mental health and substance use needs. I use a person-centered approach with evidenced-based therapeutic interventions including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I support individuals to create behavior change based on values, manage their symptoms and reach their therapeutic goals. I enjoy working with individuals with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, family/relationship challenges, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. My practice is centered on compassion, empathy, and respect. My focus is on supporting your journey by bringing meaning and fulfillment back into your life.

Have you experienced therapy in the past but maybe felt like the experience was too stuffy? Do you worry about judgement in the therapist’s office and find yourself filtering what you share? I know this reality is true for many people and my goal is to provide you with a new way of experiencing therapy. I have worked in all levels of care and I truly believe in a warm, holistic, and genuine approach to therapy. There is space for processing, crying, laughing, and anything else you need! I will utilize both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) throughout our work together to set a framework and present some level of psychoeducation. While the development of coping skills and understanding our thoughts and patterns to deal with distress and aid in emotion regulation will be important to our work together, my ultimate goal in therapy is to be flexible and holistic in my approach, working alongside you collaboratively to make powerful change towards the life that you envision. I honor that you are the expert of your own life, and as a therapist I am present to help process, empower, and seek joy. I understand college is one of the most stressful times in life, and having a trusted therapist to help during this transition can make the world of difference. I have been in your shoes and would love to be your partner in experiencing this difficult but rewarding and transformative time in life.

I have a particular passion for working with young adults in the midst of life transitions, those struggling with their relationship with food/their bodies, & those who have a desire to process through previous trauma. My training includes EMDR, which focuses on healing from the symptoms of emotional distress that are a result of difficult life experiences.

I work best with students seeking to understand the deeper sources of their issues. Many students experience anxiety and depression especially when first entering college. This can be very difficult and disruptive personally, socially and academically. Often there are feelings of deep sadness, uncertainty, fear, loneliness, shame and anger. There is a way through this difficult time and I would be very interested to work it through with you.

I love working with people going through life transitions & especially college students. Over the years, the pressure that students face during their college experiences has been tremendous & often find themselves struggling with perfectionism, feelings of being overwhelmed, not being good enough, bouts of depression &/or anxiety & a host of other problems. Navigating relationships whether with peers, professors, romantic or coworkers can become stressful often leading to not knowing where to turn or what resources are available. I want to walk alongside you & support you during this season of your life so you can move on to the next one! By Appointment Only!

Whether you have anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, together we will come up with a plan to discover your strengths so you can live your best life. Help me help you, become a better version of yourself. Life is not easy, but it is easier when you have the right help and support.

“Why am I like this?” Not enough... too much...! You’ve always felt misunderstood by the people closest to you, and here you are AGAIN attempting to find a therapist that gets you. The more you're misunderstood by others, the more you lose touch with yourself. A new medication, googling life's problems, scrolling your fyp for answers to why life seems to hate you. Your relationships are shallow and dissatisfying... more like... nonexistent. It's hard to connect when you are deep and different. Life is fucking lonely. You’re ready to start liking yourself. Fear won't hold you back from working through the hard shit anymore! I want you to know that your idea of your ideal life is what matters to me most. I value authenticity, transparency, and humanness in my office, because your "weird" isn't really that weird at all! I specialize in working with misunderstood rebels and rule benders who want to be SEEN for who they really are rather than what others want them to be.

Morgan is a compassionate and skilled therapist with multiple years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Before becoming a therapist, she spent 2–3 years as a social worker, providing support and advocacy for diverse communities. She currently offers individual therapy to clients age 13-35. Morgan tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other somatic-informed techniques to support healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. She specializes in working with teens, young adults, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals facing major life transitions. With a deep understanding of how emotions manifest in the body, Morgan helps clients develop skills to manage distress, regulate emotions, and process past experiences. Whether working through trauma responses or coping with life’s uncertainties, she provides a supportive space for clients to explore, heal, and grow. Morgan believes that anyone is able to heal when they have the proper space with support, understanding, and empowerment. She works to create a therapy atmosphere where anyone can be comfortable and fully focus on personal needs without outside distractions. Feeling depleted isn't a requirement for being a student. If anxiety, grief, or past trauma are making it hard to function, let's change the narrative. I help students transition from 'just getting by' to true stability. My approach focuses on nervous system regulation—giving you the actual tools to shift out of fight-or-flight and into a place of resilience. We’ll work to build a life where you aren't just surviving the semester, but actually feeling present, joyful and content.
