Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist. One of my areas of emphasis is counseling undergraduate and graduate students who are navigating the complexities of college life and balancing the demands that often accompany this time. It is common for these years to bring discovery and connection as well as stress, pressure and anxiety. In collaboration, we can work through what is challenging or making you feel stuck or avoidant. We can address mental health concerns that may be disrupting your path. We will look at your day-to-day functioning as well as the bigger picture of your life. I will support you in taking meaningful steps towards your goals. I have extensive specialized experience treating OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and BFRBs. While in training, I also completed an internship at a college counseling center where I had the wonderful opportunity to counsel students entering healthcare professions. It can be helpful for potential clients to know ahead of time that I am "in- network" with Boston University Aetna Student Health specifically. If you have this insurance, your visits are covered and you are only responsible for your copay. In all other cases, I am "out-of network." I am happy to offer a superbill invoice you can submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement, if you have out-of-network benefits and are eligible for reimbursement. If you aren't sure whether you do, you can call the phone number on your insurance card to ask. I am licensed in MA and CT. I am with the group practice, Soultality Center for Psychotherapy. I look forward to getting to know you!

You smile and say “I’m fine” but it's not true. You don’t necessarily know what’s wrong so sometimes you even convince yourself you're OK. You feel overwhelmed trying to balance the demands of being a student, living on your own, preparing for your future, maintaining relationships with family/friends, gaining financial independence, etc. It feels like everybody around you has it all under control. You question whether you're depressed or anxious. Maybe you've learned to cope by scrolling on your phone and self-medicating. You want to learn healthier coping skills. You want to talk to someone who only has YOU in mind. You deserve to find a therapist who will listen, care, support and advocate for you. I have experience working with college-aged students who present with a variety of concerns including: ADHD, anxiety and depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, grief/loss, life transitions, relational conflict, self-esteem issues, stress management, substance use, and trauma. Check out my website to learn more about me! I offer an initial 45-minute consultation free of charge to all potential clients so you can make sure I am a good fit for you. Feel free to contact me by phone or email if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule a consultation.

The best mental health care occurs when the patient's needs are prioritized and deeply integrated into the treatment plan. Whether you're dealing with anxious thoughts, phobias, learning difficulties, physical symptoms tied to mental health, depression, grief, or feeling like a dark cloud is always blocking out your light, help is available. By creating a judgment-free environment that fosters safe and open communication, we’ll work together to carefully assess your or your loved one’s unique situation and develop the most effective care plan. I believe the key to addressing many unwanted feelings and behaviors lies in combining holistic and pharmacological approaches, including modifying one's environment, engaging in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and using medications to address chemical imbalances in the brain. As your provider, I will work diligently to create a personalized medication plan that alleviates your challenges while minimizing tolerable side effects. Additionally, using evidence-based measurement tools, we can track treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments along the way. "When I discover who I am, I'll be free."-Ralph Ellison. I believe that many of the challenges that inhibit us from achieving our goals are related to the difficulty in knowing ourselves and how we can maximize our strengths in order to meet the challenges we face. I believe that no matter what your presenting issue, awareness of our own goals, values, and strengths are critical. It is my goal to help clients cultivate self-awareness in order to achieve their therapeutic goals. I am a clinical social worker who specializes in working with college-age students and young adults. Using a collaborative approach, I work with clients to develop a shared understanding of the goals and preferred outcomes for therapy. I draw on many theories including cognitive-behavioral therapy, liberation health, feminist, and multicultural theories. In working with clients I strive to address the personal, institutional, and cultural factors that might be affecting a client's presentation. If you have any questions for me, or think we may be a good fit, please reach out today. I prefer initial contact to be through email, however if you do call, please be sure to leave a detailed voicemail.

I am a licensed mental health professional and I work with individuals from adolescence through adulthood, from various cultural backgrounds. I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing issues with depression, anxiety, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I see therapy as a collaborative process and am honored each time clients trust me to walk alongside them in their respective healing journeys. I am a passionate trauma-informed, person-centered therapist, who seeks to make mental health services accessible and welcoming to all, especially Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) communities. To meet the needs of my clients, I utilize an individualized, strengths-based approach that often incorporates aspects of motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brainspotting, mindfulness/meditation, trauma-informed yoga, and relational work/

If you have ever been at a loss for what to do or felt stuck in a situation that seemed to have no solution then please know that there is still hope. Regardless if it is complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, there is hope. If you have a child with ADHD, ODD or another intellectual disability or have a history of that yourself, there is hope. It is my heart to meet everyone where they are at and to enable them to know that no matter what has happened in their life, no matter the trauma, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi! I'm Kade- a queer, nonbinary therapist that got bored of doing traditional therapy. Now, I work with clients in the outdoors (think: walk and talk therapy, or hanging out by a creek, or making nature art) or offer to bring in art and nature into our office or virtual sessions. I primarily work with LGBTQIA+ clients as well as those figuring out life after leaving or reconsidering religion. Many of my other clients are navigating life changes that feel chaotic or are just trying to give therapy "another shot". My ultimate goal for my clients is for them to get the support they're needing. So, I'll invite you to check in about what's working or not, and will work to co-create an approach to therapy based on your own needs. Therapy should never be a "one size fits all" kind of thing.

With over ten years of clinical experience, I recognize how academic stress can affect young adults. These challenges often impact individuals uniquely, depending on their backgrounds and identities. In therapy, I customize my approach to equip you with the tools and support necessary to reclaim balance and focus on your academic and social pursuits. Together, we will create a space to address these challenges.

As a psychotherapist, I've had the privilege of helping clients navigate a wide variety of challenges. At its foundation, therapy is relational; it encourages immense vulnerability and asks us to place our trust in someone entirely new. The most rewarding sessions can emerge from intimate, yet difficult, conversations. For individuals and couples seeking services, I specialize in sexual health concerns, relational problems, life transitions, men’s issues, trauma, and any co-occurring anxiety and depression that may accompany these topics. When I meet with clients, I hope to nurture a safe, warm, and affirming environment. I approach clinical work through a non-pathologizing lens and value the knowledge, wisdom, and intuition that are developed through one's experiences. I operate from a place of empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility when navigating every interaction. In pursuit of providing the best mental health care, I completed an advanced certificate in sexual health and sex therapy at the University of Michigan. For individuals and couples wanting to address sexual health topics, I welcome conversations related to non-monogamy/polyamory, intimacy/connection, sexual shame/empowerment, desire discrepancies and low desire, sexual functioning concerns, and trauma. As a queer clinician, I am committed to improving the mental health of the LGBTQ+ community, yet I invite clients of any background to explore services. Not all people come to therapy with clear intentions for this work; some merely sense that they may benefit from additional support. Wherever you are in this journey, I hope to join you along the way.
