Cheyenne Wright, MSW LCSWA
A lot of the students I work with are used to being the “put together” one. The responsible one. The one who pushes through. But behind the scenes, they’re exhausted. Many are dealing with complicated relationships with food, body image, or perfectionism while also navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, or chronic illness. From the outside it might look like they’re managing fine, but internally it can feel like a constant battle with their own mind or body. A lot of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, but tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns or feeling like they’re constantly fighting themselves. In therapy with me, the goal isn’t to shame or rush you into change. Instead, we slow things down and get curious about what your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are actually trying to communicate. From there, we work on building coping tools, creating more flexibility in patterns that feel rigid or overwhelming, and rebuilding trust with your body. You don’t have to come in with everything figured out. Many of my clients start therapy feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or even skeptical — and that’s completely okay. Therapy is just a space where you can show up honestly and start making sense of things at your own pace.
Ashley Self, LCSWA
If you have ever found yourself agonizing over a text message for hours or redoing your to-do list a million times (because it wasn’t just right), we’re probably a match made in therapy heaven! I specialize in working with girlies like you, who are caught in the perfectionism and overthinking whirlwind. You know, the ones who have ten different planners, three different highlighter colors, and a love-hate relationship with Pinterest-level expectations. I work with the perfectionists, and those who struggle with body image and disordered eating. Reach out and let's get started!

"I feel broken and I'm pissed about it." You were independent, high achieving, organized. Then you got the medical diagnosis, and everything changed. If you have been through a stressful or traumatic medical illness, you know firsthand the challenges of building a care team that you trust and coming into a new relationship with your body. My role is to partner with you as you face these challenges. If you are caregiving for individuals as they move through physical changes, it can be difficult to find balance. I can help you find your footing as you navigate caring for self and other, face difficult medical decisions, or move through anticipatory grief in the context of potentially complex relationship dynamics. "I just want to get back to normal." "What does it even mean to 'live with' this? How can they say that?" "This is happening on top of everything else! I don't have time to slow down, I'm in pain, and I can't sleep." "I had trauma before. This just makes dealing with it harder." These thoughts and reactions are not uncommon. Individualized, trauma-informed psychotherapy can help. To learn more, please reach out for a free phone consultation. I am happy to address any questions or concerns you may have prior to initiating therapy, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

College can be one of the most exciting and overwhelming seasons of your life. You may be adjusting to being away from home, navigating new relationships, questioning your major, managing academic pressure, or quietly carrying anxiety, depression, or past trauma that hasn’t had space to heal. On the outside, it can look like everyone else is handling it just fine — but inside, you might feel stuck, exhausted, unmotivated, or unsure of who you’re becoming. If you’re in that space, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to work through it by yourself. I work with college students who are in the middle of real life transitions — identity shifts, relationship changes, academic stress, family expectations, grief, trauma, and the quiet weight of self-doubt. Depression during college often doesn’t look like “sad all the time.” It can show up as procrastination, isolation, low motivation, difficulty focusing, or feeling disconnected from the person you used to be. Trauma can show up in relationships, in trust, in sleep, or in how hard you are on yourself. Together, we slow things down. We make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and build practical tools that help you feel more steady, confident, and grounded. My approach is collaborative and straightforward. I don’t believe in sitting back silently while you struggle to find words. We talk. We process. We challenge unhelpful thoughts. We work through emotional blocks. I integrate approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based strategies to help you build resilience while honoring your story. My goal is not just symptom relief — it’s helping you understand yourself better so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. College is a time of growth — but growth can feel uncomfortable. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, numb, stuck, or unsure about your direction, therapy can be a space to reset and regain momentum. You deserve support as you figure out who you are and who you want to become. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to Request an Initial Appointment and begin therapy. You don’t have to wait until things get worse. Let’s work together to help you regain balance, rebuild confidence, and move through this season with strength.

I specialize in working with college-age clients who grew up in chaotic or neglectful households. My clients often appear to have it all together- high-achieving, involved on campus, the friend everyone leans on. Despite this, they struggle with anxiety in relationships, fear of others' judgment, difficulty letting people get close, exhaustion that rest doesn't fix, and a sense of being lost or like an imposter, even when things look good on paper. Often, at the core of these struggles are unresolved wounds or narratives from early in life. During our most formative years, we adopt lasting beliefs about ourselves and the world- a blueprint we carry into adulthood. For many of my clients, that blueprint is resurfacing now, in the first real independence of college: new relationships, distance from family, and the pressure to figure out who they are outside of old roles. It shapes how they connect with roommates, partners, and friends, and how they handle the stress of exams, deadlines, and an uncertain future- often without their realizing it. These narratives, inherited from caregivers, family, or environment, become deeply ingrained and unconscious. While they may have helped us survive earlier in life, they can become counterproductive as we step into adulthood, creating invisible barriers to connection and well-being. Putting these thoughts into words in a safe space allows them to surface where they can be understood and rewritten.

Today more than ever people are experiencing depression, anxiety, isolation, high levels of stress, and a profound heaviness as they try to juggle unrealistic expectations of their relationships, career, and life. I am passionate about ending this cycle by giving my clients the opportunity to heal and grow. I work to provide a space where my clients can work through their wounds and obstacles toward a life and identity that permeates worthiness and embodies strength and empowerment. As a therapist, I walk alongside my clients as they courageously embark on their healing journey. I help them identify roadblocks that are preventing them from fully living the life they wish to live and achieving their goals. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years.I have worked with teens, adults, and parents. My clinical framework is grounded in attachment theory and in understanding the impact that relationships and experiences have on how we view ourselves and the world. I am trained in various clinical modalities and use the modalities that best meet my client's needs. I focus on creating an environment that inspires hope and feels collaborative and welcoming. In my practice, I focus on helping individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, burn out, substance abuse, grief, relationship dynamic issues, parenting issues, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. Anchored Hope Counseling
Are you are living in a constant state of worry? Are you a couple who is sinking into a cycle of conflict that you can’t escape, or a Christian who feels lost and seeking spiritual guidance? Then Anchored Hope Counseling is the place for you. My counseling philosophy can be summarized in the name "Anchored Hope," which was inspired by Hebrews 6:19; a verse that teaches that hope for healing can be steadfast and anchors us. With secure hope, we may not always see how the healing will come but we know that it will come through faith. To me, counseling is a way to direct people to hope so that they can experience joy and wholeness. Clients describe me as empathetic, encouraging, and challenging. Through tailored sessions, my goal is to help clients achieve a steadfast hope in their lives: an anchored confidence in themselves and their relationships, and an understanding that they can be “ok” in the face of storms. Counseling does not make life itself better because hard times are inevitable. Instead, I want counseling to equip you with the skills and strength to know you can handle challenges as they come; skills that provide an anchor of hope. If you are struggling in the storm of life and are in need of hope, please reach out to Anchored Hope Counseling today.
