For 30+ years, I've helped adults recover from complex trauma, developmental and attachment trauma, narcissistic and psychopathic abuse, addictive disorders, emotional neglect and chronic relationship difficulties. My clients are insightful, motivated individuals struggling with codependency, dissociation, or the lasting effects of childhood trauma. Through trauma-informed psychodynamic therapy we identify and transform the survival patterns that once protected you but now limit your life. Healing fosters regulation and safety, allowing the parts of yourself exiled by fear, neglect, betrayal, and chronic adaptation to be reclaimed. I integrate psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed therapy with attachment theory, somatic awareness, neuroscience, mindfulness, and spiritual exploration. My goal is not simply symptom relief, but helping you create a cohesive, authentic life aligned with your deepest values and fullest potential. Therapy is a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, compassion and respect. Together we excavate the deeper origins of your emotional suffering while developing practical tools for nervous system regulation, healthier relationships, and lasting change. Even when trauma has shaped your life new patterns of safety, connection, and vitality can emerge.
I work with college students, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and the stress that can come with school, relationships, identity, and uncertainty about the future. I’m especially passionate about supporting young adults through the often-overwhelming transition from college to the “real world” — whether that means coping with job-search stress, navigating career pressure, adjusting to new responsibilities, or trying to make sense of who you are outside of school. I also help clients process loss of identity during major life changes, such as graduating, stepping away from athletics, changing roles, or leaving behind a version of themselves that once felt familiar. I also specialize in supporting expats and individuals living abroad who may be facing loneliness, culture adjustment, and the emotional complexity of feeling caught between worlds. My approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative, and personalized. I draw from mindfulness and wellness-based strategies when helpful, and I tailor the work to each client’s goals, needs, and lived experiences. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, burnt out, or simply unsure of what’s next, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

During these times, having a supportive co-pilot can be invaluable in helping us stay focused on our goals. I frequently employ an integrative approach in my practice. Currently, I serve as a Clinical Director in the nonprofit sector, bringing a supportive and skilled approach to my work with the community we serve. Many of the students I work with are used to pushing through, even when they're overwhelmed. They may be questioning their career path, struggling with perfectionism, procrastination, people pleasing, or feeling like they're falling behind while everyone else seems to have life figured out. Others are navigating ADHD, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or family stress. As a college professor and psychologist, I understand the unique pressures students face and help them better understand the patterns that keep them stuck, build confidence in their decisions, and develop a stronger sense of who they are both in and outside of the classroom.
As a therapist, I specialize in helping adolescents and young adults find their footing and create meaningful change in their lives. My approach is warm, conversational, and focused on building a genuine connection so you feel truly heard and understood. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, or figuring out who you are, I’m here to help you navigate the hard stuff and move toward the life you want. I believe therapy works best when it feels real and collaborative, and I’m committed to walking alongside you every step of the way. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s relatable, supportive, and invested in your growth, I’d love to work with you.
