I help teens, college students, young adults, and families navigate the stresses associated during important transitional life experiences. I embrace the uniqueness of every individual by recognizing that their experiences, beliefs, goals, and values are deeply personal. Therapy becomes a collaborative experience where we navigate life's complexities. I understand the importance of attachment and culture in each person's life and bring these unique elements in to the sessions. Therapy is a partnership and I am here to walk through the journey together!
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, sarcastic human, & fellow unrooter. In a few words, my style is down to earth, collaborative, and relational. Laughter = therapeutic; swearing = basically a pre-req. Oftentimes, the universe seems to enjoy throwing curveballs right when life starts to settle. And it can be damn helpful to have a safe space to sort through it all. I join clients in navigating these ‘unexpecteds’ and strengthening into their ‘you’ in the process.
My aim is to provide a space for you to feel safe. A space where you are important and your words are trusted. A space to be heard, with dignity and without judgement. If you are feeling stuck, lonely, frustrated, or sad in your life or in your relationship(s) you don't need to go through it alone. I see both individuals and couples, including poly and kink. Whether you are dealing with complex trauma or just feeling a little off; nobody’s problems are too big or too small for talk therapy.
We're a practice of two independently licensed social work clinicians who are passionate about working with young adults as they navigate all of the unexpecteds and uncontrollables that adulthood can bring.
College is an exciting time, but it can also be stressful! For over fifteen years, I've worked with undergraduate and graduate women as they navigate burnout, relationships, juggle work and school, decide on a career path, and figure out who they want to be in life. Together, we'll identify your strengths, then use those to enhance your coping and help you overcome challenges. My therapy office is a warm and hopeful space where you'll find support to reach your goals.
We provide a safe space for you to learn ways to comfortably understand your thoughts and your feelings.
My practice strives to create an environment where you can express yourself without fear of judgement. The goal is to understand your experience and work to see things in a new light in order to bring a renewed sense of hope. Establishing a strong toolbox of coping skills along with raised awareness of what brought you into therapy can bring a stronger sense of empowerment for positive change. I believe everyone has the ability to navigate what life throws at us and make meaning from those challenges. "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. The best is yet to come.” ― Zig Ziglar

I am a registered dietitian nutritionist working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating and other feeding concerns. I practice from a weight inclusive and non-diet lens and I love instilling confidence and knowledge in clients as they strive towards peace with food and body. I truly believe everyone is capable of cultivating an enjoyable and intuitive relationship with food given the right tools and support.
My clients are often either grieving, caring for a parent or spouse, or experiencing their own chronic or terminal illness. Many of my clients are adult children caring for an aging parent.

When Henry Thoreau gazed at the summer tree and said that “the tenderest fruit needs the tenderest handling,” as a therapist, I believe it's equally true to our mind and our experiences. My role as the therapist is to create a safe and intentional space for you and to lean into the inner strength that may be shadowed by past wounds, present stress, or the hopelessness of the future. My clients include individuals who have experienced trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, sexuality struggles, or any adjustment issues. It is my passion to support clients of Asian descent and Chinese international students with racial identity and acculturation challenges. My vision for this work is driven by being a first generation Chinese immigrant and my professional experience. When I am not working, I enjoy keeping my egg-laying hens, working on my vegetable garden, biking, and cooking authentic Chinese food for my family.
Hello! We're Dennis, Maddy, Korey, and Matt. We believe that while life is hard, every human being has the potential to surmount stress and strain. Whether you're experiencing burnout, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, chronic illness, cancer, trauma, relationships issues, professional issues, or other concerns, our goal is to help you find meaning, self-respect, growth, and resilience. We're passionate about helping you increase your ability to weather and recover from difficult moments in the future. We'll do this by leveraging your strengths and building your coping skills to help you manage stress and create a life you want to live. Our approach stems from the belief that all humans have innate value and worth, and that all behaviors meet a need. We’ll work with you to examine the bio-psycho-social factors that influence your overall wellness, and we'll use empathy, authenticity, a non-judgmental stance and science-driven interventions to unlock and harness your internal resilience. Therapy can be a confusing and scary endeavor, and we take seriously the fact that you're putting your trust in us. Our therapists are happy to speak with you to address any questions about our services and to get to know each other more. We invite you to visit us at www.cpgrpsych.com to learn more about us and our practice.
I specialize in trauma recovery and EMDR for high‑achieving individuals who look successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in painful patterns on the inside. My work focuses on helping people understand and heal the deeper experiences driving overthinking, people‑pleasing, emotional shutdown, and unhealthy coping strategies. In our work together, we slow things down so you can understand what’s happening beneath the surface. I integrate EMDR, parts work, somatic awareness, and practical coping strategies to help you process what’s been overwhelming and build new ways of responding. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and direct. I’m engaged in the process with you — not a “sit and nod” therapist — and I bring humor into the room when it helps lighten the load. Clients tell me they feel safe, understood, and challenged in a way that helps them grow. They appreciate having a space where they don’t have to hold everything together and where they can be honest without feeling judged.
Are you a sensitive soul who feels like no one really understands you? I use an authentic approach in my practice, allowing you to feel heard and seen by someone who wants to get you. I specialize in grief, life transitions, and codependency. I have years of experience in academic counseling, so I also love to help students who are struggling to feel caught up in school and adjust to all the changes that come with college. In my personal life, I love to study tarot and astrology. I'm happy to talk about that in our work together if you like that too!
I know how hard it can be to admit that something isn’t working anymore, and I don’t take lightly the courage it takes to look inward. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable people who appear to be holding it all together, while feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are becoming in this season of life. I work with individuals who are navigating life transitions, grief/loss, caregiving roles, chronic illness or health-related stress, and those that are in the quiet in-between moments where things just feel heavy or unclear. Therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to have the “right” words, a clear goal, or a polished story. You don’t have to perform or justify your feelings to be understood. My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I ask thoughtful questions, offer genuine validation, and help you make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Sometimes that looks like building practical skills you can use right away; other times it means slowing down and creating space for insight, grief, or clarity to appear. Bodywork and somatic healing are welcome here. Humor is welcome here too, because healing can be meaningful AND human. I often think of my role as walking alongside you: part steady guide, part enthusiastic supporter as you find your way forward. We will focus on what matters most to you, honoring your values, strengths, and lived experience rather than trying to “fix” or pathologize you. I strive to create a space that feels grounding, safe, and real. One where you can show up as you are and feel supported. If you’re feeling hesitant but curious, unsure but hopeful, you’re already doing something brave. You don’t have to do the rest alone.
